[XPRES] Voyanger Players 221 posts 10,565 battles Report post #1 Posted June 1, 2019 Wargaming, i appreciate your will to intergrate larger parts of the player base into ranked. but if u decide to hold ranked at tier X, the players that are willing to play ranked should have earned a TX ship and not be given one. That leads to a lot of players who never have had a montana etc before, playing them in competetive without any experience or knowledge about their weakspots, angling and handling. in my opinion is is not the purpose of ranked competetive. 12 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Flippancy aside, the costings of fitting out a T10 rental are beyond many players - so I'd bet a fair few of these are totally stock. Add to this the inability to run camouflage - so again another disadvantage. The playstyle at T10 differs quite a bit from T8 - Ranked takes this further still. This is compounded further by the small team sizes - so it only takes 1 or 2 underequipped stock rentals driven by people who haven't played them before to have a major impact. 2019 isn't shaping up to be a resounding success when it comes to WG having bright ideas.... 7 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

(wasnt there quite some complaints b4 seasonstart bout cv's allowed?!....) indeed it's a pretty brilliant win/win/win move from weegee! 1. give entrypoint for players without t10's --> more players in ranked 2. bait em this way so they might buy up 3. flood ranked with rentals so cv's become unicorns/barely seen ever in the mass of matches with rental ships. 4. cv's can play ranked and no one cares, coz no one ever runs into em allday.... ...just why are most screenshots joking bout rentals are without cv participation?! does anyone in here really think we would be better off with cv's in every single match?! 2 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And you have to perform above average ( 80+K or even 100+K damage ) to break even credit wise. I did not see the 2 times i used one if this is due to "renting" the thing or just standard T10 service costs. Which then are extreme to me, my 2 Tier X CV have yet to give me less then 200+k credits ( only 30k remain after costs, but it is stull a plus ) yet, and they are tech tree too. I don’t get cv every ranked battle. 1 battle out of 4. But those rentals are playing like in randoms, they go solo or behind islands for no reason.
