All my friend complained about this issue since 0.8.0, but it still not being solved after 3 big updates.

Yes, the port has been useless for me since 0.8.0.

Can freeze anywhere from 20 seconds to 2 minutes and as as often as 5-10 sec apart.

 

When I dont div I pick a ship and press battle on button because sometimes it literally takes me 20 minutes to just send a message to a friend.

Sure I dont have the best GFX card, RX460 2Gb, but my system has 32Gb of ram and a 8 core Xeon E5 1680 V2 overclocked to 4Ghz so it sure is not hardware problem, the game just sits there doing nothing during the freeze.

 

I also tried the game on a RX480 8Gb and an i7 3770 and 16Gb of ram, dose not freeze but it runs even slower FPS wise in port, both systems runs 1440p, the port is just garbage no mater the hardware it seems.

 

And yea both system has SSD's and 100Mbit fiber connection.

I dont think WG knows whats wrong with the game, nor wants to spend the money fixing it, eventually the problems gonna be so bad no one can play there game.

Because the port is built using javascript, which can only run on a single thread, and thus doesn't give a flying monkey how many cores you have or what frequency they run at.

Lol yeah. Soviet dreams are coming true May 30th 2019. Historical moment many asked for.... And why not to take this opportunity and laugh at settled standards and ship lines like making 203 guns irrelevant for example, making German BBs even more useless and so on... Played Lazo and Pyotr Velikyi, got high caliber 1st resp 2nd game. Completely balanced. Why not "Russia first", right? And CVs? Well, obviously intelligence data were available with "Kremlin" project so they made it ready for CV state at the time of its release...

I am not sure about if this patch good or not. But I still can make a clear stadement here that most of the DD players will surly come back and complain about something in this patch. God knows what but surely something. Because if they can not figure out something in the game mechanics, the fact that most DDs playerd so poorly in the game just proved their imcompetence. The real fact is that 80% of the DD players are actrually not even closed to qualified, playing a DD properly.

When they originally came out with this, we were also supposed to get reworked aa skills and sector management AND a start delay in 8.4, nothing of this happened....

So far what I noticed in new Carrier gameplay

 

Dunno why were Graf Zeppelin planes nerfed when only thing those planes had was speed. Torpedo bombers do less DMG than T6 planes, and are as fragile as T6 planes in T8-10MM. Dive bombers now overpen everything they touch.

She went from 250kts to 220kts, that's 30kts nerf and with health pool those planes have... Sigh...

 

If you want to nerf spotting fine by me (even tho that wasn't as big of a problem as the fact CVs are still able to Dev Strike DDs with one squad of rocket planes...) priorities... go figure WG.

(No to mention AA is still unreliable AF)

 

"NERF" on US Dive Bombers, not only BBs and Cruisers now get chunked by 15k drops, they now get chunked by 30k drops because you made aiming reticle smaller even tho the dispersion of bombs is larger, they now hit everything on large targets and any competent player in game is able to adjust the play-style. Had a nice view on Grose Kurfurst getting blown to pieces by 25k HE drops, great nerf...

 

Well done WG... even if you nerfed all CVs across the board you still buffed the US HE Bombers against larger targets...

Could someone clarify this for me. It seems that you can only get the new collection items by getting the ''Motherland'' containers wich ONLY seem to be able to be aquired with the new provision tokens. and Kusznetsov can also ONLY be bought with the same tokens wich if i have done the math right you can NOT get enough of with the remaining duration of the event unless i at least play 1 day on a team with a higher than normal difficulty. Can anyone tell me if i am right or just making huge mistakes here?

as far as I can: take every day the 'normal' team (and get 500 points) will give you 26 x 18 = 468 tokens, plus 2+2 every day for hall of fame, so 572 tokens in total. And of course some days the normal team will win, so +2 for each win...

Thanks for the clarification Klopirat. But just one last question though, To unlock the collection i still need to buy one of those containers right? (sorry for the questions or possibly sounding stupid, i just want to be sure of what to do.)

or maybe we will get the "daily shipments" like on the PTS, that had a container as final shipment. So I would wait until tomorrow if we get such shipments also on the live server...

- there is simply no avoiding.... So I guess every single forum visitor had to deal with this agony.
- @Bruecki2938 your question is legit seen the high % of non info posts that more seems to be replies just for reply sake. 
And yes, like every forum has its dwellers... the posts are often... (95%)  , pro WG.

I guess we should respect his efforts ,
still many posts did actually info players. 

But the amount of light attacks towards forum-visitors in these +16k replies does worry me.
(a reason why I write this "light" attack as token for lost time)

What's revealing is how the parts of the port UI that can be used in any browser, such as Inventory and Armory, are so much faster in for example Chrome.

 

When I click around in port, selecting ships, adding signals, checking consumables and all the usual stuff, I have all cores on a 3.4 GHz i5 clocking at around 50 %. I imagine the problem is really JavaScript, or the built-in browser in general, trying to get some free time in there. Also, the GPU fan sound like the GPU is running hotter in port than in battle.

 

In fact, I sort of hope that port UI could really be just the damn browser. I don't need the 3D eye candy in there all the time... After 1000+ games, 99 % of the time it makes no difference. It IS nice when I get a new ship, or for whatever reason just want to look at it. And I'm sure it's appealing to the average new player, and has to be.

WHAT THE HUBBLIBUB - until yesterday i had 3 useless ships in my harbour (clanwar) - now i have 10 - T E N.

 

I cant understans why you have to supply players with ships to play clanwar and now alto for ranked (seems to be the same thing now). If you dont have those ships nessesary for

playing those 2 kind of battles you dont participate TA-DA.

Yepp, most play like crap and I dont mean they cant shoot or doge.

Its the tactics and lack of knowledge.

 

Even in ranked the teams splits with a CV in it, do not split whit a CV in game, no mutual AA cover, no fighter cover for everyone etc.

 

But no I had this DD going alone to a cap, fine, I told him to smoke in it and I dropped planes so he had protection and eyes.

But he sits there bown IN to cap, then when smoke runs out he runs in to middle of cap, gets killed by Mino...

 

I mean the first thing your learn when capping in a DD is, dont sit broadside so you can collect torps, dont sit bow in so you cant make a fast escape, still 90% of DD players cant master this even at T10.

 

Its not just DD's forgetting basic rules of this game.

 

Then you obviously have the yamatos or montys going by them self to a cap in a CV game, getting murdered because they cant figure out that mutual AA is better. Its a death sentens to go alone, but theres no point in complaining people wont learn, better to blame it on the game and claim crap is not balanced.

 

I had this Des Moines complaining how he lost 20K to a CV and got killed, but he never mentioned the fact that he went full broadside to every BB in the game and got nukes in one salvo, yes CV took 1/3 at the most but dont go first in and broadside to BB's at a cap, but anyway blame it on the CV.

Yeah, I found it. 

 

Still... all the story that you could get Lazo just by playing the Victory Competition was a complete BS.

 

Now instead of playing (like advertised and talked so much about) I have to buy 2 containers which cost 2500 doubloons in order to get to the 1500 "allowance tokens" and get Lazo.

 

And the ones which played less than me, would have to pay (significantly) more.

 

That's very disappointing and goes against the whole "Get Lazo just by playing the competition which ends on 26-June" [edited].

its really bad how they nerved the token gain. Its really bad if you tend to go for the loosing team. I got 22 tokens today for my 55 points. So i guess i will be able to get the captain and nothing else.
