CptBarney Players 8,127 posts 245 battles Report post #5 Posted May 27, 2019 I like the peter, but it does take a lot of damage even when angled sometimes, and the dispersion sometimes can be a bit trolly when at close range, doesnt take torps well and secondary range is lacking. but despite that its seems quite solid. That ship (Slava) should just be cancelled, it's a terrible concept. Great interesting ships, except for the current cv dominated meta, which makes the entire concept of pushing brawling battleships redundant and useless. Armor makes them simply immune to AP and most HE spam with that 60 mm deck (barring - you guessed it : Conqueror!) Lower tier ones (Sinop and company) are just barely worse than a Gulio Cesare equivalent on their tiers. Slava is just conceptually Typical WG - Rework CVs - Life now really difficult for close range brawler RU BBs due to CVs and camping meta, since they cant hit anything at range - buff RU BBs armor to even more obscene levels and add good long-range dispersion (covering their only weakness) - Release RU BBs and nerf CVs into the ground - ??? - Profit Anyhow as I've rerolled to CVs exclusively I don't care anymore (Haku AP bombs says Hi!) Now, the only objective is to make life as miserable as possible for other players untill they either quit the game or reroll CVs themselves. 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Enterprise can't citadel Izumo / Yama / Musashi due to 57mm. At least I tried several times and I couldn't. AP bombers on her... that is just rude... plain rude... and russian BBs... omg they really like to eat those citadels :) I remember a sinop from last night... remember her vaugely.. she dropped out of sight very quickly... :) On the subject, I've been the part of the tests of RU BBs... I played them a lot... They are all strong ships.. very strong.. but apart from Kreml.. they really get punished hard.. if you make a boo boo! Kreml on the other hand... I didn't have Lenin against, I know the T8 takes cits having 40mm deck, Lenin has 45mm so wasn't sure. @Excavatus in fact Haku can take down the Lenin full hp from not complete squad (8-9 planes) . 8 citadels and he's done. FWIW the T7 is quite worthwhile in Narai; I got all four from boxes, and have only really tried the T6-7 in Ops so far. I prefer to play ships that really existed when they're available, so I tend towards other options, but they've been fun so far - I approve of them being apparently optimised for closer ranges (provided the average player realises that they are, and resists the urge to hide on the borders).
