Ranked Battles: the Twelfth Season

I had a Ranked game with 5 rentals and a Zao , versus 2 rentals on the other team. 

It wasn't pretty at all.

Kind of summed up the meta, so I've stopped playing Ranked now.

We have several changes for CVs planned for 0.8.4 that should help DDs a lot. CVs were part of ranked seasons before - with several squadrons in the air at the same time. And we'll monitor how the new CV gameplay will fit with ranked battles during the seaon.

I need to check about this, not in the very near future though.

yes you have severell buffs for CVs, and now the dds are unplayebell, i have try the fastest dd in the game going with 52.5 kts and still i got reckt by a t 6 CV thank you WOWS we expect next patch to be a new buff to CVs, that is what you have done

 in the last 2 patch  thank you for ruing the game

Rentals in ranked is a very bad idea. Grab the bat at bash the idiot whom came up with this horrible idea.

The idea of making T10 rentals available to newcomers is extremely bad, but guess what, I've seen a lot of "yolo" warriors with regular ships in this Ranked season. That was not a surprise for me, since the same type of guys you can find in Random Battles. But to come in Ranked and act like you don't give a sh*t about anyone, go and die (alone) in the first 3-5 minutes, well...

The MM is broken - giving you at Ranks 8- 7 the same guys you encountered at ranks 12-10 , the advancing system is extremely flawed (really now, it is so hard to make it more enjoyable, Wargaming?).

Beside this, as I underlined before, having CV's and Minotaurs in Ranked is... unspeakable. And today? Today I had a battle with a CV and 2 (!) Minotaurs on each team. I must say I barely restrained myself from breaking something with my bare arms. So, I quit playing Ranked. Enough with this crap.

WG, it's clear now that even after 4 years (four!) you don't know what you're doing there. That's why you pushed hard on graphics, special effects, more ships, more colored videos, more animation and pretty girls, and so on...

... because when it comes to gaming, you don't have a god damn clue what that is. You may know how a ship looks, but the game? You don't know how to make it work, really. Because the ideas of the most improvements added to the game belong to us, the players.
Wargaming, If you think we're that stupid to loose any more time and credits on something worked so badly as your Ranked Battles, think again.  Take all that steel you graciously "offered" us, cut in in tiny-tiny pieces, and shove it up your arse, and maybe in the process of doing it, you'll learn to listen better your players. I can live without that steel, and so can others.

LOL thnks but i give up not good for my sanity rank can piss off i only tried this season cause i need one more copper for a camo i knew would be a torture with the cv crap  lols ,the rentals and the saving star snippers when is not a cv present in a battle ahahha took me arround 30 battles to get to rank5 and another 350 to move up and down like an idiot to always end up where it started only good thing i make a fortune on credits cause of the tween flags ahahah !!!!!

I didn't even try.

 

I don't like to play T10.

I don't like the CV rework.

I had my doubts about the rentals.

 

I started back in OBT and have played 7 games/day on average for four years. Now,.....well…..somedays I don't even have the the urge to start the client. "Why bother?" that's how I feel about the whole game.

Geez almighty you ruined Ranked more than usual.

"But we've had CV's before..." How does that make it any different?

 

It's unplayable. Period! CVs dominate from r5 and up, no chance against a decent player in a hak.

Not only that, they stay alive and save their stars. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Trying to keep my composure against these idiotic decisions at WG, when do they stop sniffing methangas and come to their senses??

 

Stop forcing these damn CVs down our throats! Create a 4th installment .. name it.. WORLD OF CARRIERS, and put them all there.

Then all the cv addicts can go play cv vs cv, and the rest of us who enjoy ships can play and enjoy the game.

 

Only playable mode left is COOP........

Dropped from 6th to 11th, and now cant pass by 9th.

Best idea ever! Rentals ftw, because when you are rank 6, and need 1 freeking star to get rank 5, you get 2 shima rentals, and a GK (10 point captain?) and you lose! How to destroy rank by warfailing 101

Well, today I was on rank 2 with 4 stars left to rank 1.
And AGAIN dropped  down to rank 4 with 14 stars left to rank 1.
If I'm calculating right, this is the 6th time this happens to me this season, and I'm on a 300+ battles more since I first reach rank 2.

It is absolutely absurd, ridiculous and denotes a huge amount of things wrongly done in the design of this season, starting for the fact that playing ranked battles is no fun anymore (ofc I'm talking by myself, as a CA & DD player).

T7-8 was excellent rank season.

I have given up on ranked. Cv, radar work, russian bias radar, mm which decides to put a stalingrad and 2 dm's on 1 team and no radarship in the other etc etc.

 

Loosing 10 stars a day not uncommon.

 

Unfortunally these are not exceptions but rather daily.

 

As random already was toxic from t7 up i had no choice:

 

Uninstalled today.

 

Given up. Great idea software. Very, very bad executed, very, very poor product management.

WG :experience earned with a rented ship is transferred to the starting ship of the respective nation.

But I was playing with shima (rental) last ranked battel,  And I got 200 k exp ship,  but the xp not transferred to started ship HASHIDATE🤔

I'm going to risk a few downvotes here and say that allowing Rental ships for Ranked battles was a positive, and certainly allowed me to participate. I was very late to the party and just wanted the commemorative flag for Rank 15.

 

Once the decision had been made to make the season Tier X ships only that alone would have excluded many players from participating. We had a good selection of ships to use, and they were effectively promo ships allowing use of the most optimal captain. Whether all players took the opportunity to actually use their best captains and spent the millions on credits on all the Upgrades I cannot say. The alternatives would have been players relying on Salem, or using free XP to skip up to Tier X and then going into battle with a lower skill captain, and not enjoying the season as much as they did. If someone had really wanted to participate without a TX ship already they would have found a different way and the outcomes would have been worse.

 

I'm sorry that some bigoted people think that all players using rental ships are potatoes, or whatever. There are potatoes everywhere; the vehicles themselves are not relevant.
