I'm happy if you just left them out of competitive play but as it is you are allowing CV's but the one glaring fault here is there  you are not allowing anyone to rent them like in the other classes? Fair is fair. Why are there no CV rentals?

I am concerned about 2 things:

 

30th May -> 25th June - and 7vs7 (not 6vs6 like last season) -> isnt this quite short for a full ranked season? Not even 4 weeks? uff Is this intentional?

 

Rental Ships -> Well I thought I wont see them - starting at like rank 23 or so like new Players in the past - so no need to bother. But as it looks now I just need to loose 2 stars (rank 10 -> 11) and I am in the same league and have to carry....mh..."MUST NOT LOOSE STARS AT THE START....MUST NOT LOOSE STARTS AT THE START....."

 

For CVs - well will be a changed Meta and new challenges - one needs to adapt. Power of Stalingrad reduced - Welcome AA speced Minos, Worcesters, Des Moines, maybe Hindy with comeback...

Skill gap and impact might be huge...

One more question: Will their be some free re-specing upfront the ranked season? Any Infos available to Setup captains accordingly?

11th just like 12th had the same amount of days - 27

We are not planning to have free re-specing before ranked battles.

Since you WG guys constantly change the game, ships specs, and now you have CV's back (in the god damn Ranked, wtf)... you should give us the opportunity to reset the captains skills accordingly, ffs. 

Yeah, can't wait to see those CV snowflakes bragging about "how good&skilled they are", they and their damn splitting squadrons, manually controlled against our shitty automatic AA. Give yourself a raise, will ya?

Thanks for the replies @Lumberjack and clarifications.

 

Season 11 was 6vs6 - so - a bit easier statistically to save stars and also more direct impact dué to smaller teams.

Just my thinking. Anyway - I am curious and looking forward to the changed meta - several T10 ships ready...so - lets go....

CVs are not picked that often? let's remake them to be the ultimate DD counter ... so that no one will like playing DD in ranks! xD

There should be free re-specing for those who played at least 1 battle in latest CB season so this should be helpful.
I will try to confirm it and come back to you. :)

It's an awful decision to allow CVs in ranked. With star saving still a thing, absolutely unforgiveable.

yes well cvs in ranked ahahhahahhaha !!!! lets also have more noobs with rented tier10 ships which anyway these days you can grind in arround 250 battles  to ruin any serious game play for a change sure anything else? what a lot of crap LOLs or you can get with coal !!!! where is the old days that would take someone at least a year to grind a tier10 ship and at least you would enjoy battles in tier8s and above now player base is at the most only suitable to play with tier4s tops ....rubbish !!!!!! at least dont allow rented tier10ships in ranks below 12 :P but noone listens ahhahah now 99% of the player base dont know what their ship is supposed to do or what the opposition's ships capabilities are thats not competitive mode is bs !!!!

why o why is it Always Tier 8 to Tier 10.  WG dont let it get into your head that this is something we cheering for. What is wrong with lower Tier and then ranked battle. Is it realy only to do for you to make MONEY MONEY MONEY.

I say all ships stay in port. That would be a statement. WG doesn't listen aslong as we keep playing they way WG wants us to play*

there was a single mode where chould have litlle quiet  from CVs, you manege to edit* that allso, thank you WG that is the resson your lossing 1000 players a week, go one do what you did with world of warplanes thank you again for making me playng this game 1 h a weekafter i spent 3000 £ on my acount

WG Logic....

We have several changes for CVs planned for 0.8.4 that should help DDs a lot. CVs were part of ranked seasons before - with several squadrons in the air at the same time. And we'll monitor how the new CV gameplay will fit with ranked battles during the seaon.

Why t10? 

 

I think a low Tier Ranked season is also fun and the ships are more neutral for everybody 

Every special event is T9,T10,T9,T10 

 

Than these stupid CV`s in everygame... its more World of warplanes than wows

If it keeps going like this i realy gona say goodbye wows after 5 years! and stop with my founded clan and hope the other 35 members will do the same!

Where are the cv nerfs? where are the kitakaze, harugumo nerfs? where are the german dds and batleships buffs? When will hindenburg become truly the tankiest t10 cruiser?( give it 32mm side plating and 32 mm deck and give it 60 sec heal cool down) khabarovsk buff? new campaings when? 

Are you ever going to admit that you have destroyed this game with your carriers that appeal to low skill players?( much like arty from wot and believe it or not people that game is becoming better and better day by day while with wows is the oposite) Ap bombs that can deal 20k damage per drop sounds balanced to you? HE bombs with extreme penetration and damage and fire chance sounds balanced to you? rockets that can deal up to 8-10k damage to a battleship sounds balanced to you? torpedoes that can be drooped from 1-1.8km sounds balanced to you? infinite planes sounds balanced when you have turned AA from a simple mechanic to understand to an RNG fest with the addition of the useless flak and that GOD DAMMIT stupid hit probability?  

Are you ever going to understand that these carriers in this state that they are right now are not good for the health of this game? 

As for this ranked season i will play minotaur and henry( I CANT WAIT UNTIL YOU WILL NERF THAT BUT KITAKAZE, HARUGUMO AND CARRIERS ARE ALL UNTOUCHED)

Agree with that!

but look.. its not my problem if ppl don`t gona play this game anymore..games enough to do..

But they must remember.. WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS! everyone is complaining and nothing changes.. well its not my problem either if the game is not gona make any more profit and they must dismiss ppl working there.. i only feel sorry for them..

That's the worst for me, infinite planes doesn't make any sense. The late part of each battle was the funniest and most intriguing, now it's all about CV's cleaning up the deck.
