Just got the Mino and working on the build. I assume that it should be more aa oriented with the current meta? But on the other hand the Mino has very good aa anyway from start...

Suggestions for module and captain builds are happily accepted. 

 

I did ok with the Neptune and when I played Mino in PTS I did better in that! So I look forward to the experience with this ship!😊

This is what I run:

 

For the modules:

Main armaments mod 1

Hydro mod

AA mod

Rudder shift 

Concealment 

Gun reload mod

 

For the captain:

Priority target 

Adrenaline rush

Superintendent 

Concealment 

Manual AA

 

The rest are up to you, I have Vigilance and JoaT, but there are many alternatives

IMHO Manual AA is now far more useful than say.. AFT, especially now when the AA range doesn't get increased. Moreover, AFT only increases the flak damage :)

Increased sector damage and decresed sector reinforcment time. So manual AA with BFT are the most effective AA skills currently.

 

AFT is only good on secondary specced ships or gunboats as it is just a nice bonus and not a dedicated AA skill.

I run PT, AR, SI, CE, MAA, BFT, JoaT. Minotuar boasts THE highest base dps in game, Sector switching with MAA bumps that by 50% for some quality dakka.

 

AFT is something I'd pick on ships with weak dps AA to bump flak and pray hard enough CV player isn't familiar with WSAD keys.

Id like to add something for the 6th slot module:

- Range mod: Ive heard @GarrusBrutus had some success using this, by getting longrange (deck?) pens against BBs. Maybe he can tell you something about it

- Reload mod: I dont prefer it, because reload is fast enough

- AA mod: Might take that instead, could open up some captain points

 

I went a bit troll meme build by using SE on my Mino. Which was down to me playing Radar mino, but with CVs being in basicly every game, i went back to smoke mino. SE synergizes with your repair party, so you can heal more.

SE is not worth 3pts... but i would consider LS over JOT. Tho JOT comes powerful if combined with flag.
