So we have a thread named "your greatest achievement of today", but what about specific funny stories of your  adventure? I just had to share this one. So the game goes even, 2 groups split as usual. but their 3 dd decided to go straight tthrough the middle where I was all alone. Partialy this is my fault ofcourse, but never have I expierenced this so early in the game, despite all my pings of needing help, no one reacted. So I had to deal with Shima, Gearing and Z-52 on my own. I was on my Haku who already has difficulties dealing with DD. 

 

I killed all 3 of them.

 

 

I avoided all torps, but their main guns almost killed me. Thank god for that repair and their shitty aim.

Not today but yesterday i played Enterprise and when i took my rocket planes off the game crashed.

I task manager killed the game and restart to find me 3 minutes into the game and a lost full rocket squadron in t10 mm.

Finished with a kraken and 120k+ dmg.

I sank a 1/2 hp Lenin in a Worchester in 32s while we both sat 5km away from each other.

Yesterday I managed to do 15k dmg in Audacious before we lost. No enemy ship destroyed (by anyone on my team).
I ended up 1st on my team by a large margin.

Game in GK last night. Blew up Neptune and z49, secondaries finished off a shima. Midway looks at me. 39k bomb damage, letting a triple fire burn just to have a chance while their bbs turned towards me. Just used dc, rocket planes said hi. Was almost at full hp with aa completely intact and aft. Shot down 2 planes total. Very fun and engaging on my part.

Heavy TX battle, each team has 1 CV (T8) and 1 DD (T8). The enemy has a Benson.

About 2-3 minutes in the battle, the center cap (B) is being captured, no ships spotted; where could their DD be? 

 

So a few others and me ask the CV to scout B to try and spot the DD; but what does the CV do? He attacks a Des Moines / Salem / Iowa near the A cap.

Ok, maybe he just arrived when we asked so we'll see about the next wave ... but again the CV goes for the DM / Salem / Iowa.

Meanwhile the DD has captured B, and we ask our CV again to go scout B and try spot the DD ... but again he goes for those 3 ships.

And again.

And again.

 

Finally, about halfway through the battle, the CV types something in chat ... a rant about how useless a T8 CV is a battle like this; how easily T9 and TX ships could deplete his reserves ...

I was Tier IX DD (stock with just 3 point captain) - I got focus fired by whole enemy fleet and my "teammates" (including Tier X CV without any clue) "died like flies" because the thought that piecemeal attack was good tactics against big blob or rushing enemy BOTs in "Standard " battle...

CB yesterday and bolted through a cap in a Kurf.  Low and behold their was a Des close to perfect bow-on to me waiting (same old spot).

 

He popped up at 9 km distance, I fired 2 turrets worth and halfed him, I then quickly fired the second 2 turrets and finished him.....from full health.

 

So much for angling the poor git.  Did not expect that from a Kurf with secondary build, a Yam yes, not a Kurf (expected some bounces).

 

There team broken like a cheap mirror.

I don't think the RNG gods will smile like that again for a long while.

tier VII co op yesterday, trying out fuji, standard battle, everything is going fine, we have a CV and 2 cruisers at our base, the cruisers haven't exactly done much but they are moving and definitely aren't AFK so we're confident the base is covered.  i'm with the other 3 survivors and pushing towards their base and all of the bot survivors apart from 1, we have a ship numbers advantage overall but we're taking it slowly, picking angles etc running down their HP because its 4 v 4 locally and they very slightly out gun us,

 

an amazingly good team performance, everyone thinking the same way and 2 ships happy to defend for the team rather than chasing damage and kills.

 

what could go wrong in co op ?

 

1 bot cruiser makes it to our base, it's too far back for us to defend our base, so we can only sit and watch in amazement as our 2 cruisers run away and our CV displays an awesome talent for ignoring the map and chat and insists on still sending his planes to the enemy base rather than engage the long thin silver thing that's shooting at his planes as they repeatedly fly over it , yes he was actually flying his planes right over the ship that was capping and didn't once think about what it was doing there

Had one random battle today I was in my shima and encountered a division of 3 Minos all running smoke, what was funny though was I managed to kill 1 in the first torp volley and wounded the other 2 as they were grouped together. Still the best bit  was they just relocated and sat in smoke again and let me torp them again this time putting them both down. 

 

The funny bit but was I kept being plane spotted by their CV but they and the CV all ignored me, please can I have enemies like this more often rather than as teammates.

Map: Atlantic, One CV two DD game, No Radar !! Yes !! Its cap rushing time.

 

I go for C, so does the red Udaloy. He gets in first. I follow suite to prevent the cap from being red. As I outspot the Udaloy I feel safe and...my team is in full support !!

We spend a great deal of time outmaneuvering each other and dodging torps. At the end he torps me in my smoke but I had done my signature smoke pattern and I didn't care. 

He decides to charge me in the smoke and outgun me (or ram me, really I can't tell what he wanted to do). We collide and I survive the ram and torp him point blanc. He dies. I cap. I received 19,416 damage but survive. We won.

Got detonated in my KGV by a torp from a Furious, I was at @ 2/3rds health at the time.

 

I was turning away from them and it hit around B turret so I can only think the magazine took the hit.

 

I have a Furious...didn't think the torps did that much damage to be honest !

In the fat russian citadel thingy at tier 5, two angreh people were screaming at both cvs on either team and calling them on obscene things.

 

One of them ended up having a rant with his mate on his team (enemy team) which consisted of one saying l2p the other wishing carriers were deleted.

TWO funnies yesterday.... mind that is sundaynight (weekends...)

Second: so then I went sealclubbing in Campbelltown, met many many sealclubbers (all in div, all in clan...  running premium ships).

...and then I was going to club a sealclubber, he smoked up in his Tachibanana, so was gonna torp him...

...got torped by my only teammate that had no div, no clantag and was running unupgraded Phoenix without camo. 

RED SEALCLUBBER: WATCH THEM SEALS THEY BITE YOUR ARSE, HAPPENED TO ME 4 GAMES IN A ROW ALREADY.
