What to take as 4th module on a New Mexico

I just unlocked the new mexico (T6 USA BB) and I'm wondering what to take as 4th module:

 

  1. Stearing gears mod 2: faster rudder shift (20%)
  2. Damage control system mod 2: 15% faster fire and flooding recovery

 

Both seem very useful?

on BBs I generally take DamaCon mod in that slot, every bit of fire resistance helps :Smile_Default: and off the top of my head I can't think of anything that would make the NewMex differ in that regard

New Mexico is a huge, slow, lumbering Giant Turtle which even a blind hedgehog could hit from 20 km away any way you look at it. :etc_hide_turtle:

So just forget about making any sharp and agile turns or clever evasive maneuvers (or flanking moves or quick escapes for that matter, too slow). You will be taking hits and lots of them. Take the Damage Control, you are gonna need it.:Smile_Default:

Damage control. You will burn a lot more than having to turn in pretty much every game.

In the long term, the increased fire duration is going to do a lot more damage than the rare torpedo hit that could have been dodged by marginally faster rudder shift.
