So apparently full hp (or 99% for you nerds) detonations are still a thing. Fun and engaging.:cap_like:

probably the salvo hit at slightly different times and the first turret took you down to enough to be detonated and one of the last few shells detonated you.

Just a crazy thought here: What if players wouldnt get randomly detonated for no good reason? Nah, that would be crazy

A single hit can't detonate you from full HP.

The second, third or fourth, even from the same salvo however ...

So that was fixed from "utter rubbish" to "slightly less utter rubbish" in other words :)

PS: I am still waiting for one wiseguy to tell me to equip anti detonation module for blasting 75% immunity. And we all know that in WG language 75% of RNG means absolutely nothing :)

If you find detonations annoying, why don't you equip the anti detonation module for added protection? :Smile_trollface:

Doesn't the detonation check happen after all the damage has been inflicted though or was that merely a rumour? If not, a citadel hit can render a target below the 75 % threshold and then, well... :fish_boom:

Yes, detonation roll happens after damage from shell is subtracted from ship HP. So if shell damage brings you bellow 75% of HP you can detonate. So you can still detonate from a single salvo or a single hit if that hit take more then 25% of your health.

That's already in the game...you just have to play a CV, because as everyone knows, CV's have serious survival issues. DD's detonate the most, because they can't put fully armed and fueled planes on their deck to negate the chance of detonation!

You can buy flags to negate that??

I can find more annoying things in the game though, like buying a 10 point captain, and having to dish out more just to put him in the rights ship.
