Not trying to be rude, just being honest. Its extremely arrogant. He has 5 games in Kaga with only 23 total games playing CV, but says he has ‘plenty of time’ in British carriers and he ‘knows how to play CV’... Im simply pointing out that maybe he should wind his neck in and climb down from his high horse. Well... but they give you options. Early on try to save as many planes as possible. Then you will have reserves to strike what needs to be stricken. With the TBs start your run about 7-8 km out. You will not lose much if any planes during this... drop and boost away. Repeat if you feel you can get away with no or little losses. If not: "F" recall and launch next wave to TBs. If you did not come to the forums to learn or care about other peoples oppinion, then why stay? Just went and then ignore the thread, simple. As for the other comments, well not all ships are for the average player as you say but that is sort of the point. Everyone will not excell in every ship, and if you struggle in a particular ship or class then you either learn or drop it entirely. Saying that a ship is underperforming for some people but excelling for others and then asking to fix it sort of misses that point. Clearly other players enjoy and can perform great in the Kaga, but you don't. So if those players can work around the squishyness and make the plane reserves last then maybe the problem lies in certain parts of the playerbase. It's like me and my Neptune, I know it is a good ship, I know a lot of people enjoy it and make it work, but I just can't and I hate it, so I either don't bother or take it out on very rare occasions. I completely agree with this statement in general, but it doesn't really fit here. Because of the almost endless plane reserves, Kaga is really easy to play. Just take out your torpedo bombers, drop the first attack onto an island of your choice and start an attack run from ~7km range with the remaining planes. This way you won't even get deplaned in T10 battles. You can even attack AA cruisers without losing too many planes, just drop 2 strikes onto an island and attack with only 4 planes. You will get off your strike before you lose them and 2-4 torpedo hits on a cruiser are definitely worth the 4 planes. As he already mentioned, he isn't here to learn. That's really sad, because I think there is a lot he can learn after only 23 battles in CVs. I am not a great CV player, but here is an example of Kaga in T10.
