Space camo is back

Anyone knows which ships are given the camo? I know we could all wait until tomorrow but Im just so excited. I cant find anything on last years event.

I know Shimakaze is getting one, but I would feel kinda sad if Yamato didnt get one as well. Since your Shimakaze is basicaly in stealth for the most part of the game, I dont see why you would spend that lot on a camo, while Yamato in contrary is always in sight and gets focused alot. This gives you the chance to open your zipper and show them what you got. I dontr know, its just my opinion. So back at it, who knows which Tier X ships are included?

 

Also what happens if I buy camo for ships that I do not own, for example I have T8 cruiser but Im planning to grind out Zhao in the near future. Can I still buy the camo and will it be avalaible when I buy Zhao later on?

Now I personaly cant blame WG for adding Shimakaze, because I requested it in one of their surveys, but I also mentioned Yamato. Anyway, dont wnana complain. Im here to gather as much information and thank WG for adding space camo once again.

I do belive you should have the camo even if you don't have the ship. As a side note, please, don't use that colour, its very hard to read.

Yes you can buy a camo in arsenal, without have own the ship.

And i will probably buy the Moskva's camo.

No Yamato camo other than the HSF one and the  upcoming Kobayashi one.

For those who don't know, the ships in the first space event (2015) looked drastically different from the new, reworked ones. Obviously, since there was not as many ships in the tech-threes back then, you had less variety.

None. T10 camos are only available for doubloons, some T9 and below should be available in the naval aviation thing.

None, they will be on sale for i believe 8000 dubloons each.

 

You  will however be able to buy t10 legendary upgrades for 600 ironium, so id be interested if anyone has calculated just how hard it is to get that.

I think you can get a max of 300 free ironium from sources known so far.

Confirmed. I learned this last year the risky way. I absolutely fell in love with Moskva's Aurora camo and sfx. At that time I hadn't even started the russian cruiser line, and heard mainly bad stuff about the Moskva in general. But the Aurora camo, and a nearly simultaneous CB-period with the chance to try out the T10 russian cruiser made this purchase a no-brainer for me. I bought it too, and hoped that it'll wait for me in port when I get to the end of the tech tree. In a matter of days, She finally arrived in my port...and the wonderful outfit was awaiting Her in Her dressing room! :D 

 

If you cannot unlock Zao by the end of the event, go ahead and buy the camo in advance!:) I'm in the same shoes, and am considering the same thing.

One of the main advantages (and main reasons for) making camos purchasable through Arsenal (soon to be re-named Armory) is that this way a camo can be bought for a ship you don't yet own - because ownership of camo is not limited to ships you own or even ships you have researched. When you get a camo, it will just lie around your inventory indefinitely until you get a ship to mount it on

Yes and also for all the various missions that have granted lots of permacamos at T6-8.

the whole ships experience will end up in the Orlan tier 1. but that of the commanders?

The cost of the camo blows my mind. Its just a massive figure and super crazy if you purchase the bundle pack.

Commanders are all 19 pointers so their experience will go directly to elite captain xp.

This is worth emphasising for any newer players who happen to be passing: if you don't have any 19-pointers yet, a few decent games with some suitable signals (I am remembering correctly that you can put signals on the space ships?) will have a significant positive impact on xp available to boost your existing captains' training...

So WG made an event that if you play it you get no reward (anyone confirmed that LM cannot be bought for ingame missions?).

Very interesting approach, I have to say that is a new thing.

No price reduction, no chance of grinding the camo, no nothing.

The only reason to do so is if you *really* like the aesthetic; I'm a little surprised they don't come with (marginally?) better bonuses, to encourage people to spend the extra. That said, it might annoy people, as (if you don't like the aesthetic) you'd be forced to have your ship looking all 'spacey' if you wanted the extra bonus...
