My game is lagging in battle here and there since yesterday. I also had 2 complete freezes in battle this evening, resulting in being forbidden to take part of random battles for anti-sportive behavior.

This is bad. I wanted to continue Exeter events closing soon and I don't see how to get there in these conditions. Not saying I am not happy because I just purchsed several premium ships this afternoon. Grrr.

 

This bad connexion happened whatever the medium I was using (adsl then phone tethering).

Is it due to patch deployement or something alike ?

 

note : upcoming patch was finished downloading before play

And the "division by flight" of the squadron is still done in a way that suggests that whoever designed it didn't even look at it.

For everybody normal this - at a glance - looks like 3 flights... only when you start looking closer you realize that for some reason two planes are "alone", so perhaps the symbol connecting the planes actually isn't supposed to mean what it seems to mean intuitively :Smile_sceptic:

 

Unfortunately while the feedback given here was valid, we did not get it until a few days prior to the update. Making changes to the build that late can have very serious negative effects on the build stability.

 

That being said we will definitely watch the feedback upon release closely and decide whether to make further changes to the UI in a following update.

 

If you'd be so kind as to post your feedback in the relevant thread on Monday together with a suggestion how to improve it, I'll make sure it is forwarded!

In mine expirience the DDs are in 80% of cases not directly killed by CVs. But from other ships that profit from spoting of CVs. Even when CV not attack DD directly and just spot, the DD is dead and have no contraplay. DD can tray to run and hope to get out of weapons range of other ships and that is it. Had games where CV just provided the spoting and Cruisers kiled me. No chance of contaplay.

Have 107 premiums/rewards in port so I don't feel the need to go windowshoping.

Whoa, so much hate in here :Smile_amazed:

 

I do like that WG is finally taking the port lag seriously, but imo this should've become a prioroty once they learned of this. The port ui is basically the face of the game and I don't even bother opening my contact list or being part of the operations channel anymore exclusively due to the port ui lag.

I'm not sure about the visual changes to the port ui. I didn't particularly like it on PTS, I basically just lost where stuff was.

 

I don't like the W/S bug fix as this was at least some redeeming factor in all the nerfs CVs have received, but I do understand this was never intended to be this way anyway. Still I give it a "nay" as imo carriers have already been overnerfed.

 

I do like how squadrons will be able to spot in KW again. I found it odd that I couldn't anymore but presumed this was intended in some way. I also like a number of the other bugfixes. It's important bugfixes get fixed.

 

I'm almost done grinding Furious and will be glad I got to play her before she received another round of (direct and indirect) nerfs.

 

I'm not sure if Azuma will be worth the 1m FXP. lets see how the first responses will be.

I don't agree with how you worded it, but the port ui is I think THE single most nagging 'feature' of this game and it has been limiting my enjoyment of the game for a while now (like I already described above).

The AA change is really needed.

 

The Premiums in the Armoury - nice idea. Unfortunately I own most of them already. However, anyone noticed that Duck of Yorck is 100 Doubloons more expensive than Hood....?

There are even more as I don't have all of them. 

 

I don't have: Graf Zeppelin. Wichita, Flint, Stalingrad, Bourgogne, Iwaki Alpha, Arkansas Beta, Marblehead Lima, Diana Lima or any of the Black ships. That makes it 120 premiums/rewardships in the game right now.

That's because it's 100 doubloons better - it's a stealth flame thrower with floating drydock, and decent AA. 

 

Hood, on the other hand, is a four mile long cruiser with dispersion issues. It's fun, but nowhere near as consistent as the Duke

I'Ve tried to give a chance to the British tier VIII CV... It is certainly one of the worst things that they have never done that are said to call themselves WG developers.

Texas still hasn't been fixed, so it has a catapult for the spotter plane yet no plane is still visible on the ship.

Port is still laggy as hell...

 

Yesterday I got disconnected twice right after a battle each time.

Interestingly I have found that the prices of every premium ship are (or, will be, at this point of time) increased by 300 doubloons (e.g. the aforementioned Hood's cost will go up to 10000 from 9700) once the update is applied.  Not that it's bad:  they must be taking into account inflations and such, but it would have been better if they at least mentioned this somewhere in the article with proper reasons (be it excuse or not), not just throw off some bunch of numbers.

The "Fly! Strike! Win!" Event

With Update 0.8.2, the final part of the "Fly! Strike! Win!" event begins. Its rules are similar to those of the previous parts, except for the difference that this time there is only one Stage consisting of four Directives, each comprising 10 missions. The event’s Directives will be unlocked on a weekly basis, and must be completed in a sequential order. Various in-game items, permanent space camouflage patterns for researchable U.S. and French Tier VI–IX heavy cruisers, and Naval Aviation containers are the rewards for completing its missions and Directives.

 

Great! More camos I don't want for ships I don't have :Smile_amazed:

 

It would be nice if you could give us the opportunity to get rid of camos and flags in the Inventory

Nice update ............

 

But I think you need to make a real balance of  some AA because are many ships

in all tiers that are extremly boosted and when you attack them just lose and lose your planes so I think it's a point that you need to really check

 

Another point is The balance for Tier 8 Cv when you play in rooms with just Tier X so you have no chance to do much with it and if you have boosted AA well you really have no chance to do nothing + Defensive AA are imposible to planes to survive even if you have the new AA balance

 

Well this is just my personal opinion :cap_cool:
