Or make a setting to display both. I.e. if I damage a destroyer for half his HP, it should show (approx) 10k, and 50%. If I damage a battleship for half his health, it should likewise show (approx) 30k, and 50%. I use the WG modstation and in that there are mods that may help you there are some give you options on what damage bars you want and enemy ships stats in game. What if instead of that, we saw the standard permacamo for the ship when they're using a camo we've disabled? Or just any of the silver camos? The characteristics of the Alaska class are very close to Kronshtadt, having about the same speed and armor, as well as having the same number of main guns of an equal caliber. The Alaska class cruisers had a slightly weaker secondary battery than Kronshtadt ( A:6x2 5'' K:4x2 6'' + 4x2 3.9'') but a more powerful AA armament. Consumables should be the standard U.S. heavy cruiser consumables and main battery guns should have a rate of fire of about 2.5 to 3 rpm. The permanent camo should be the historical camo of either USS Alaska or USS Guam, depending on which of the two is selected to be in game (although my favorite is Guam, they both looked fantastic). Similarly having to add someone to a list and then talking to them after battle isn't a great way of doing things. I used to play the original Everquest, so that's where my idea came from: There is one main chat window where different channels are shown in different colours. For example clan chat could be green, division chat could be yellow, team chat could be blue, world chat could be red. If you want to talk in the clan channel, you type something like this: /c Clan Message And the same for other channels: /d to talk in division chat /t to talk to the team in a battle /w to talk to the world in battle /pm <name> to send a message to a specific player It would certainly help communications on all levels. You can activate or de-activate certain channels, obviously features like a blocklist must be implemented, too. I am not a coder, but since the underlying chat infrastructure is already in place, it would "just" be a matter of consolidating the separate channels into one window (and please please make that resizeable and customizable with items like font size). Not at all what I meant, so I have to clarify: Change the 'damage done' counter up in the right corner, and in the after-battle report, so it displays a sum of percentages rather than a sum of absolute numbers. If I damage a battleship for 20k (33% of its base health) and a destroyer for 10k (50% of its health), the damage counter should show 30k and 83% respectively. Missions and other rewards should be based on percentages rather than absolute damage numbers. Possibly with a 5-15% bonus for the 'kill shot'. Reasons: if you push and/or are involved in cap-fighting your damage is usually rather low compared to ships behind you. I had a really good game a month ago where I played battleship and sunk three of the enemy's four destroyers, and severely damaged the fourth. I also solo capped one cap and helped cap two more. Let's disregard the question of whether that should even be possible in a battleship, and just say that I ended up at 88k damage dealt. If and when RN carriers get introduced it will be too little too late, as WG have their history on this game is a little screwie, thus ships in game that never were built or proven in battle and ships that should be in ignored. So we have to wait till WG mess with carriers probably destroy how they play and the fun for some of playing them, thus we may or may not get RN carriers. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I will use the Colorado class as an example of what i'm thinking: When i purchase the Colorado class i have access to a drop down menu where i can choose to name my ship after one of the three Colorado class battleships in real life, Colorado, West Virginia and Maryland. Say i chose to name my ship USS West Virginia, the name West Virginia would appear on the stern of the ship (or wherever it was placed in real life) and the ships number, 48 (or insignia), would appear on the bow (i couldn't find a picture of WV with her number painted on, but some ships had it). Obviously, some ship names wouldn't be available, such as Missouri for the Iowa class or Duke of York for the KG5 class as these ships are already represented in game as premium ships. The chosen ship name would only be visible to the player, to keep gameplay simple, and it would have no impact on the statistics of the ship, it would simply be a nice way of making your ships more personal for history buffs like myself, as well as a way of representing ships that otherwise may not find a way into the game, such as West Virginia or Maryland. Allowing more ships to access on screen, without scrolling. Scrolling -> ... Yes, ..is is clear.. able apply filters by nation, tier, on-off ARP ships etc... But the point is: all ships on one place and without scrolling. Different colors, font, background, etc. anything really that just helps identifying it for what it is at first sight. I would like to be able to distinguish them from the normal upgrades just so I don't do anything foolish with them. Whatever would make them stand out I'd like to see that marked in my Inventory as well as in the Upgrade selection.
