Why isnt there an on/off toggle for premium time so I dont waste premium account time when I am unable to play for a longer period (travel, work, vacation etc.) ?

Because premium time like that would be MUCH MORE expensive and does not really fit the business model.

WG wants you to play more.

WG wants you to feel that you miss out when you not play.

I've heard rumours that they are testing such a feature. But I have no idea on if,what and how.

We have such a feature. It is called premium camo and flags. Pay per use.

Well, the idea here would be that you plan your time ahead on your own. You bought premium time for a period where you won't / won't be able to play = your own mistake / problem.

If they made premium any type of "gameplay time" (that would include this on / off toggle), it would become much more expensive.

Currently you pay X for 24h of it. In that ^ system just to keep it at the same value they'd have adjust the price up and time down by the same multiplicator. Lets say the average player plays for 3h a day. That's 1/8 of the time, but to keep the value the same it would have 8X price

Navy Field did something similar.

It could work here as long as people couldn't abuse it.

Something like. You can only do it a limited number of times in a year. Once you turn OFF your premium you cannot turn it back on again for about 14 days. So that way you cant turn it off and on. Also make it so it takes something like 2 days for it to take effect.

It would be nice that you can choose to put premium on/off. Bud wargaming is still a business so they need to make money out of it(which i think is logical)So i don't see this happen that you can choose to set premium on/off.

I paid for a year ahead.

I am perhaps able to play maybe 250 days/evenings that year

I would like if I could put my 365 days on "hold" with an on off toggle

a "weekend warrior" mode for premium time would be very nice.

i would be less sparing with buying premium time if that where possible.
