Out of pure curiosity, how many of you is former tank drivers? 

I got bored with tanks after 33k games but since I need hobby to kill time (veeeery boring work) I`m playing ships now. 

Also (apart from voting in a poll) pls post - if you want ofc - what stats did you have in WOT and if they are better in ships or not. Not that it makes difference or means something, just asking. 

In tanks I have 63% WR and ~2400 wn8, but I never cared about average tier and I played only tanks I liked so my stats can`t be taken too seriously - I`m sealclubber and statpadder. One of the worst out there. As far as I know I`m best Pz2 and T-34-85 driver on EU server. So much statpadding... 

But now I`m sailor. Everything starts again.

Im too ill to leave the house much of the time, 56K or so games in WoT, and so pleased to get away from the toxicity of that environment with this game.

This. If I was concerned about numbers I would be playing Command and Conquer: Algebra Wars, or Star Trek: Quadratic Equations, the final maths frontier. 

50% wr (noobmeter gives me above average on most scores), 28 tier 10 tenks unlocked and in garage along with I think 58 others, including the su76l that annoys people so much at tier 3. Also one of things I take great pride in is the first game with 10 enemy kills was done with a Hummel. Just saying like!

Gee, I have played so little of WoT (only tried last year) and immediately disliked it. When I found out players had favourite shrubs to hide in (I really was pushed out of some by some players!) I realised this was a game for shrubbery lovers rather than actual tank combat.

As you can guess I am no fan of WoT and from what I hear from you experts I am glad I found WoWs as you never know, I may have become a true tree-hugger in WoT

Have around 36k games in WoT and still play more tanks than ships, mostly because not many clanmates are in WoWs and playing in company > playing solo.

I played more than 12000 games in WoT in two different accounts, but after 9.0 the game was downhill for me, and the constant nerf of the all TDs, (which was the class I played most) was the final nail in the coffin.

About 20k games here. In the end i was unable to perform as good as i used to and had little to no fun at all at the game. Took a break, got into sheep alpha and haven't missed it a single time ever since.

I have 22k games and 2400 WN8. I never cared about stats and was a full time hardcore casual.

My Favorite tank is the T-34-2 w/ the 122 mm gun, love that tank to death despite not having any good stats in it. I failed miserably in the IS-6 but I'm one of the top 112 drivers on the EU server.

 

I have 2 favorite moments in WoT:

1. I got stuck in a brawl vs a full HP Foch and a VK45B in my T-34-2 in the Lakeville town... and beat them both, it was a sad day for the enemy team.

2. I was chasing a Type 64 in my own Type 64 and ended up behind an enemy T-29. I decided to let the Type go and focus on the roadblocking T-29... when the game glitched out and I spin-kicked the T-29 to death from full hp. As if that wasn't random enough, the impact launched my wreck and it crushed the enemy Type too.

24k iirc, 50% wr 15xx wn8 or something close to that ( going up from an account low of 46% proper tomato level ). I haven't played much WoT since I bought a Pz II J... Waiting for unified account to kick in, will probably spend the gold on WoWs and not on WoT.

Played somewhere around 10k battles and had about 19xx wn8. but after I got beta access to boats I never looked back. Guess I'm hooked playing all da boats 

 

But can't wait till they make the accounts unified, have tons of gold in WoT

Managed just over 16k battles in WoT before I moved on about two years ago. Don't remember my rating, but I had 53% win rate if I remember correctly.

My play style was that of the tank enthusiast and collector, amassing lots of different tanks and not really focusing on any one tank.

 

Last I checked my win rate in WoWS is 57% so I guess it's about the same if you factor in the improvement curve of my WoT stats.

I'll probably play WoWS the same way I did WoT and I do War Thunder, namely getting a wide variety of vehicles and playing them pretty evenly.

I am wondering, why are people having their WoT stats in their WoWs signature area? Are they [edited] enlargement images, do they magically increase the amount of salt one can put into a single post?

Being good at WoT is not a qualifying factor for being an unbearably salty sailor. I'm salty despite being good at WoT not because of it.

 

In other news I'm purple at planes, blue at tanks and bad at ships. I've not worked out how to carry in this yet but if anyone wants to division up and find out then add me in game.

I played about 25k battles in WoT but now if I want to play tanks I normally play War Thunder Sim battles mode as it's much more fun and challenging.

Yeah, you have to watch out for the Knights Who Say Ni! in WoT.

Still play WoT every now and then. It's still fun for the most part. It's a shame WoWp was so hard to pull off properly otherwise I would play all three.

 

And there is nothing wrong with having a favourite shrub.

18k battles and 1950wn8 in wot. Before I got the wows beta key I was in a stage in wot where I started the client every day but just could not press the battle button. 

Past 30 days played 10 battles wot and 736 battles wows.. Everything is fun and new again..

Unfortunately not many of my former wot friends (and irl friend) have followed me to wows. Luckily the forumites channel is stronk in wows too.

8K games 1669 wn8 just an average joe. I still play both games tank of ship like em. but in the future i think ill be playing warfare and WoWs a bit more then WoT.

I played somwhere between 6k and 7k games of WoT, same account if you want to look me up. I think I have something like 53% win rate but I'm not entirely sure. I never really used the stats for wank material and more to just see if I was improving, so more of a motivational tool ^^

 

Anyway I started playing way back in closed beta, stopped because I thought KV and 3tier MM spread was bullcrap. it got changed, I came back in OBT, left again because I thought artillery was bullcrap. Watched a lot of Jingles' videos and one day he said "artillery got nerfed, mass exodus ensues" and so I came back right after that. Between 8.5 and 9.4 I played about 5k games, improved massively and really enjoyed it... but artillery is still bullcrap and I don't mean the players, they just use a mechanic available to them... I mean the mechanic itself is insanely flawed and horribly unfun and it just ruins the game for me. If it wasn't for artillery I'd enjoy the hell out of it, just like I do whenever there isn't any artillery in the games ;)

 

They learned a lot since then and I think it shows in warships. The progression is actually fun instead of a disgusting grind, carriers are the good version of the artillery mechanic, the gameplay is fun and as soon as the aim assist cheat is gone, I don't see why this game can't be a major hit =)

 

But I'm pretty much done with WoT. Can't wait to use up all that gold I got sitting there in warships instead
