Free containers?

Hello

 

So, earlier today i went to play and i noticed i had 6 containers waiting and got messages that just said container added and oil obtained.

Didn't think really much of it just that oh, nice free stuff. Then i went to play a couple of games and left to do something else.

Now i came to play again only to find that i have 6 more containers waiting and i got the same messages.

So, why did i get 12 containers for free?

EDIT: Should maybe mention that the containers are all different, there are Dunkirk, Air supply, Royal Navy and christmas containers that i could recognize.

Were they twitch containers? They sometime have funny drop patterns.

Do you get twitch containers for watching the WOWs streams? If so i haven't watched any so i don't think it is from that.

Yes, and any of the community contributors. But then... it's obvious they are twitch boxes (purple) so they probably weren't.

I always use any containers that i get right when i get them and i haven't done any missions now that would give any. Same goes for campaigns. I haven't bought any and doesn't it let you know if someone gifts you something?

Yes. Usually it is pretty self explanatory where you get stuff.

All the information is on the screen or a result of your action.

Mostly different collection containers and 2 christmas ones that gave me 1000 doubloons each
