I am with you , I  played the old RTS CVs about 20% of my game time I was never unhappy , I gave the new ARCADE CSs a try ,and after something like 20 games ,I don't want to spend the time to learn the great guess work needed to do much damage to any target !  They have made planes that lack a very key item ! FUN . If I want to control arcade planes then I will play WOWPlanes its 1000% better then CVs now !  Commanding the CV and the air wings was a better game then having very poor control over a lead plane "TARGET"  . I will not spend money on a no fun CV . And when WOWPlanes  made that game a respawn arcade game That was it for me . last time I spent on that game .  TRIED WOWTanks  to hectic for me uninstalled !  WOWS is going the same way I guess . LOL with the arcade game  . WOWS will need it !

wows will never become wowp  but maybe they should try to be a close copy or just Quit and make a new better RTS CV game .

And when will they uninstall/redo this CV thing, to the way it was? Because now its a joke, somebody wants to fly, play World of Warplanes!?

death to the game before dishonor , they must be kamikaze s    !   Maybe they need a new game , for older people .World of Wooden Warships , no goofy planes ,no space ships ,no hiding behind a rock ,then going forwards and backwards ,no 10 second subs , no camo or smoke , and ramming is out of the question . FIRE ships accepted , and wind direction and speed is important  .  Nah never happen , it would require thinking and not just for the players !

After last 2 patches, I have frequently short pauses in the game. About 1/2 sec. Especially  while a ship destroying. My ping (35) and fps (80) has no problem. They are same. It started bothering me. Anyone else have this problem or is this problem may be in my computer/program/connection etc..?

Same here. I have 16GB of RAM and I wish the game would use that more efficiently rather than waiting for the ship kill signal to arrive, then go and fetch all required explosions, effects, decals, sounds etc from disk and then use them. That's too much unnecessary IO from disk.

 

Even on the lowest graphical settings, ensuring the GPU doesn't get saturated, during explosions there's huge frametime spikes.

 

Before anyone mentions it, setting cacheeffects to true and buffing the cachesize and the other usual stuffs in engineconfig does practically nothing.  Do a google search and you'll see countless of people with beefy rigs complaining about all of that on reddit
