They do look truly amazing.

What baffles me though is the fact why HMS Audacious uses Wyverns as all his planes. Even though that art and directives shows Hawker Sea Fury.

There was so much potential to use different planes too like for example Blackburn Firecrest or Supermarine Seafang.

Yes, just hope they're just place holder and change that in future

Can you give the IMPLACABLE catapults as she had in 1944, just to look more ralistic. (first image below is implacable and the second is ark royal)

As you can see, they had  catapults, i know that they don't do anything in the game, it would just be an aesthetic feature.

How do I obtain florins other than buying them?

I've done all the Fly! Strike! Win! directives, done all daily missions too. I'm 100 short of the Tier 6, bar buying containers, is there any way to get the final 100 florins?

Tomorrow there will be new set of directives mate. Also you can get some florins and crowns from daily missions.

Couldn't give a flying Frack about this soon to be nerfed CV line. CV game play is crap give me back the old top down style any day. I'll earn these ships and sell them as soon as they prevent me from selling them and yes they do block you from selling them at the moment. If they don't allow us to sell them after the event there's always a class action lawsuit. Wargamming seems to have learnt nothing from all the other game makers in the last year or so shooting themselves in the foot. They're determined to make as much money as they can before new EU regulations set in.

Maybe her fighter consumable summons Sea Furies?

But yes, while I like the Wyvern I thought they would at least have the Sea Fury as the rocket plane. For lots of other aircraft carriers they seems to have the fighter double as this aircraft.

This is also another good opportunity to point out that this article also confirms that Implacable was commissioned in mid 1944, but in-game her description card currently incorrectly lists her as entering service in 1945.

Big Fracking surprise we can't login to the game again Seriously frack WG. The amount of time and money I've put into this game and you continue to frack customers over by somehow making the game worse with every update over the past 6 months. Refusing to compensate customers for items they just purchased that that you put on sale just a few days later. This game has been out 4 or 5 years now and you still haven't fixed the buggy UI in port that causes the game to freeze constantly. How da fuc can you have such a well known bug in your game for 5 years and not fix it?

You've somehow managed to escape the attention of the big YouTube game review channels that would call you out on this. I'm gonna do my best to draw their attention to your sh1t from now on. Frack this WG they suck Donkey Balls like they were going out of fashion

Completely agree a bit of a missed opportunity of if it stays this way on full release given the diverse selection of post war planes they could have chosen from. Granted I do like that they snuck back in a (partial) jet in the form of the wyvern turboprop. :cap_haloween:

The development history of the Royal Navy’s aircraft carriers, now in formation and battle-ready!

Read it on the portal

Another series of blunders.

The main feature of the British carrier is its armour at the cost of its small number of aircraft.

With the new system, that doesn't matter, like the others, they're simple aircraft factories.

As if it were not enough, the tier X should never have been the tier X, as much, in the old system, the tier IX, so not by any chance, can be on par with the other tier X CVs.

And to top it off, WG takes the twin-engine interceptors and reconverts them into bombers, which raises questions about what they understand in WG about things. Because to begin with, the kind of bombardment they have, gives laughter to anyone who knows anything about naval history.

[...] two 457 mm single-guns were mounted on Furious

Jeez these would've been funny to see, secondaries that could just HE citadel some cruisers they'd face

Sorry to rain on the parade, but it is sort of what I do at times.

Hermes is almost in 1941 condition, but she is missing the two quad 13.2mm AA mounts on deck, as well as possibly the 5 single 20mm Oerlikons added in late 1941. AA in game for both hulls is just 3x 102mm.

As far as I know, Furious only ever carried four octuple 40mm pompoms, so six as in game is incorrect. Furthermore, hull A could/should have 2 more 20mm (a bit unsure on Furious light AA outfit specifically, 1941/2 condition is a bit likely), while B-hull shouldn't receive any twin 20mm, and does miss an AA sponson or two on the port side of the ship for adding the 20mm singles.

Implacable's A-hull AA is correct for 1946 condition, but not for 1944 or 1945, where there should be less 40mm and more twin 20mm. B-hull is obviously fictitious.

I don't have any problems with Audacious, she is strikingly similar to Eagle as completed. Which makes me laugh that while she is still correctly listed as a design in the description, several other more paper designs are listed as real ships laid down.

Other than that, decent article outlining the RN CVs.
