How long do you want to wait if the MM had to consider all these factors? 15+ minutes?

There are ways around that, I suggested some years ago, but the dev's never listen or give feed back.

I am currently reworking it and then I will post it.

I don't hold any hope though the have never listened and rarely given feed back, and now they annoyed the contributors with the same treatment.

After release of latest patch i have a feeling there is something wrong (worse than usual i mean) with the MM. Had 20 loss streak (which all in all is statistically imposisble) while in 95% of those games i was top5 in 75% top3 ... its like one team (mine) is constantly pulling short straw in terms of players skill while the other .... well it does not. To put it mildly, it is infuriatingly frustrating. No matter what I do, we always lose at the end.

Why should that be impossible? The probability is greater than 0.

It is simply the MM not being random, not even close.

Do not mind him.

Despite his inability to answer a simple question, he still thinks he found out some hidden secret. Naturally he cannot prove anything, that is why he is not explaining it to you or it would be too obvious.

Another denier of the obvious ( & WG admitted the MM is not truly random - this was stated years ago). So you swallow whatever Jones style  Kool-aid it is you are drinking.

Well, if you could link that source instead of making it up, we could understand where you got the wrong idea.

This is common knowledge from when it was stated by WG.

You joined in July, 2015 which is sufficient for you to have seen the history of WoWS.  I do not make things like this up. Too bad you either never saw the admission, are unaware of that or, perhaps, your memory is selective?

Knowing you, I'll go with your 'selective memory'. Ask others. There are references from WG that the MM is not truly random - never was, nor never will be (it's part of their patent).

Is it everyone but you who doesn't realize this - or are you still in denial?

The common knowledge about MM is found in the Wiki and this thread. Why can I not find this source of yours? Probably because it is made up or you misunderstood something....

And stop bringing up patents. We have patents of space elevators and habitats on Mars...

We had even patents for eternally running machines in the past, before patent bureaus started improving their standards (they might be still some of these patens left...)

There is even one for a compact fusion reactor:

https://www.freepatentsonline.com/20190295733.pdf

Where is it?

That's where it is plus some clerk in CS sometimes admits it. Do some research.  You do know how to do that don't you?

Wow, you are getting excited about 'patens' or is it just you getting too excited? Too close to the  truth?

As if either of these are 100% reliable. ROFL. As the saying goes, "Were you born yesterday?"

The clerks that everyone and their mother praises for their competence? :Smile_teethhappy:

As I suspected, you do not understand what you read and have no clue what patents mean.

heres a hint, dont argue with wg-pete as i like to call him.

he will defend WG to the bone for some reason I cannot quite comprehend.

apparently wgs shady practices over the years have gone unnoticed by him.

everyone and their mother knows the matchmaker is rigged at times but there are some that simply prefer to put their hand in the sand about these issues and pretend everything is fine.

That is always good advice when you have no argument, which is especially obvious when you have to resort to name calling... :Smile_teethhappy:

I am just answering...

If people would stop discussing me, I would post less...

Unfortunately, I attracted quite a fanbase that follows me around and seeks my attention. Good job :cap_like:

It's more like the Pete Ostrich putting it's head in a hole in the ground.

We have to be polite. If it weren't for the EULA, you'd be called a lot of 'names'.

ROFL. We are not discussing you, lol. We are disagreeing with your utter contrarianism

Why are you looking in a mirror? There is no one behind you or following you. It's just you.

Which makes your lack of argument even more obvious.

Why do you make it so easy for me?

I dont know if its only me.

But the lastest ranked mode its definetily not ranked.

Its a collection of junk people with alot of money paying for premium ships.

This is not competitive playing.

Hope wg sinks like theyr subs.

Nobody is following you. It is just that you feel the need to jump in and defend WarGaming whenever someone complains, so it may seem to you that you have a fanbase, because a) people respond when responded to and b) people disagree with your opinions and respond to them. But if you were posting less and more constructively, you would notice that you don't actually have a fanbase to begin with.

To be fair, MatchMaking can either be completely random or it can be fair. I mean, with a *completely random* MM you would have teams where one team is 4 BB 0 CV 2 CA 6 DD and the other is 5 CV 6 BB 1 CA 0 DD. Or one team has ten radar cruisers and the other team ten destroyers. Etc. Matches have to be balanced somehow, so matchmaking cannot be completely random.

Yeah, when I post the information that someone asked for, I am defending WG. Riiight.... And yes, it is completly plausible to disagree on that and find it unconstructive... :Smile_facepalm:

When people comment on ALL my posts of two months in a thread in 15 minutes, they are not following me, riiiight :Smile_teethhappy: (that is rougly the time you need to scroll through all the pages of the discussion)...
