Holzbein_Jack Alpha Tester 450 posts Report post #1 Posted February 5, 2019 Ahoy Commanders! If you run an AMD CPU with integrated HD Graphics (like AMD Accelerated Processing Unit series) you may encounter crashes with World of Warships since Update 0.8.0. Our development team is currently working on a fix for this issue. We expect to have an intermediate patch soon. A possible temporary solution can be the replacement of your WorldofWarships.exe with the one from this archive: WorldOfWarships.zip Extract the archive open your World of Warships installation folder ( default directory C:\Games\World_of_Warships_Eu ) replace the exe file located within your World of Warships installation folder with the one from the archive. Please share your feedback about the fix below. The World of Warships Customer Support Team

Bien cordialement
juger65 Players 5,733 posts 10,217 battles Report post #10 Posted February 7, 2019 Quick question, is this exe also valid for version 0.8.0.1 or is there an updated version. Or was the original exe adjusted so far that no fix is needed.

[OGHF2] Hugh_Ruka Players 4,054 posts 5,647 battles Report post #12 Posted February 7, 2019 Dear Wargaming, HD Graphics is the Intel brand of iGPU. There are at least 2 different architectures of AMD iGPUs on the market at the moment, would be nice if you were a bit more specific. f.e. I have a Ryzen 5 2500u (laptop CPU) with Vega 8 Mobile iGPU and I had no crashes so far (tbh I did not play much for obvious reasons).

[FFUK] 1HeartsOfOak1 Players 4 posts 21,547 battles Report post #14 Posted February 8, 2019 This fix is for low powered systems like mine. I have an AMD A6 6400 processor (don't laugh) and had all of the problems mentioned above. Later and more powerful AMD processors are not affected. The fix allows me to play the game but not to get into Clan, News, Arsenal and other sections of the admin side of the game. They are working on a full solution but I guess they are all running around like blue assed flies atm and have other priorities.

Sorry Hugh_Ruka, I do not know how to reply directly. So, I have a very old system (upgrade is on way) my processor is AMD A6-5400K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics driver: Microsoft 6.1.7600.16385 Since the 0.8.0.0 version I had no problem and was able to play smoothly Now I have problem, the game does not even start :(
