First of all, you guys have an unique talent to [edited]up the game mechanics. The list below it is just a part of the issues which ....

What did you do during your last 4.700 battles?

Watch TV?

You are missing the BASIC understanding of the game.

And there are help threads for that...

Can they just remove CV's and be done with it......its getting really clear now that they can't be properly balanced.

The Rework is not released yet? :cap_haloween:

You have to give a new system time to gather enough information about the perfomance. Wargaming can't get good data with players fighting against bots on the test server :D

We should have it up with a whole week of lead time. I want to make sure the information will not change anymore and since the whole issue is rather complex it is better to do it through a proper portal article.

A week/7 days is fantastic, This is all we ask, "Time to prepare" 7 days notice! What does that do for your player base?

(Answers)

  • It gives us time to prepare.
  • Time to make plans to suit our gaming schedule.
  • Time to scrutinise the Update/Changes article/s you publish before the live date arrives.
  • Time to make plans for in-game community/clan schedules.
  • Deciding which inventory/modules/consumables/ships to keep/sell or upgrade.

And last but not least:

  • Time to voice our opinions on what you offer.

A 7-day window to fully read and digest on the changes that you bestow upon us with 0.8.0, so that we can make decisions with the ease of time available.

Honestly, at this point it is obvious that this whole "rework" is just to disguise a massive nerf to CVs.

Played a few rounds with the newest patch and boy calling the AA brutal would be belittling it. Lexington or Midway against T8 ships driven by player with AA builds. Get used to scraping one cloud, halving your whole squadrons HP.
Even in a cheapo match ( 6 vs 6 because of MM ) I am lose planes left and right, the regeneration is too slow. I cannot even approach singled-out BB that were chasing the CVs as they just go "blap, blap, down goes your squad".
I definitely demand a FULL refund of my CV line on live for free XP and free Crew-XP.. This is a joke, you most of the time can use the strike potential of one wing and then the squad is dead. Sometimes even not that.

Why can't WG simply admit "We do not want CVs, we are removing them!" instead of this "We gonna nerf them to the ground, overbuff AA to the max and the problem will solve itself". The experience is not fun and neither fair, if I as a skilled player could do something about AA, lure them then change course and their readjustment time is too low to follow. Something like that would make it fair but just the random black smoke that spawn more frequently that mold in a humid cellar, does ridiculous amounts of damage to all planes. Sorry just now, admit you do not want CVs and we can be done with it quicker.

If not, AA needs a nerf, a magnitude of 50% is at least the minmum.

what annoys me is the sake of increasing the length of the hall of fame part of the P.E.F event split it into overtime or something but those who have been doing it for over a week now getting points to stay in the top 100 gets mundane and exhausting and getting to the point its ridiculous, at this rate its not going to be worth while to try and get that supreme will acheivment, especially having to go through the headache of suffering through potato players of 17 straight losses, an doing this for another week to try and gain points to stay in the 100 is awful

They may have listened, but certainly not to the majority of CV players.
CV players want to play carriers, they don't want to play a simplified version of world of warplanes, which is exactly what the CV rework will accomplish.
The real issue with the too great skill difference between opposing CV players, comes from too much direct control over the squadrons performance output, limiting this would solve the issue.
This rework will make lots of CV players completely stop playing carriers, which is a really bad thing.

Also, WG you didn't specify the "why"... Though I don't mind the postponing of the update, as this means I can play CV a little longer before the bad CV rework goes live.

Did you really end the missions to get P.E Friedrich early? It was supposed to end in Jan 30th. Goddamn 1 million left and all that to waste.

Really irritated that this mission finished earlier than expected - If I had known I would have prioritised certain races to ensure they were finished on time to get the bonus and I would not have wasted gold buying premium time to get an earnings boost.

Grrr...

Manual AA control would be funny, but then only for the long range gun.

But it also need some skill with the sectors. You can notice that in some videos, where some people are pretty bad in managing the sectors and others who know about positioning and maneuvering :cap_haloween:

That's the whole point though, games are supposed to be something you can do better or worse at. If some people are bad at managing the sectors and some aren't then it seems like a perfect gameplay feature :P
