I think you will find that we all wish to have a well-balanced game, A well-balanced game that is tested on test servers, not on the live server, why should players (some premium paying) have their enjoyment disrupted because having to test the CV/All Ships rework on the live servers?

Because no matter how much you test something you can never predict how 200 000 different people will react in a random situation.

There's still no need though; as suggested just make its display off by default. Defaults are very powerful — shockingly few people change from them.

Please add an option to disable the "point on the surface where you're aiming" marker on the minimap — that's something players have actually requested a lot.

cvs players like to postpone, hopefully out of date, because the rework is poor, please do not hurry 10 - 15 years would be a good time to change the cvs so we have time to enjoy them a little more, before that you end up with them

This is actually something I also mention at the end of my wall of feedback, I consider it completley ncessary and obvious, cannot understand why it is not part of the concept yet.

 

Damaged planes being recovered must go though a partial preparation cycle proportional to the hp to be recovered, otherwise the damage they were inflicted will be lost giving an unfair advantage to the CV and punishing very heavily ships with weak AA which could easily be focus fired without consequences for the CV once and again.

What is about the personal CW missions?

The enddate for this missions is still shown as 22.01., so have we one more week to complete them or not?

I wouldn't like it to fail on the mission because i lack 2-3 victories and loose a good amound of steel because of it!

Yeah it would be nice if WG could clarify this @MrConway @Sub_Octavian, since there is a lot of debate weither the missions have been prolonged or not.

In game the missions still end on the 22nd. So I think that's it. Make sure you have your wins by then to be sure.

There's an aspect of the CV re-work that somewhat concerns me, and no-one else seems to be mentioning it:

It seems that all upgrades and commander skills that currently buff AA range have been changed to have other effects.

This means that ships are stuck at their stock AA range.     For certain ships, this represents a significant nerf.

For example, consider the Minotaur.  As we all know, the Minotaur depends on stealth to a great degree.   Currently, with a full-stealth build and an AA range buff, Minotaur can engage and destroy planes at around the range at which the planes will spot her.    This is often vitally important for the ship's survival, such as when an enemy ship launches a fighter or spotter plane.       Currently, the Minotaur can target and destroy that spotter within a fairly short time, only being spotted for a few moments.

In the re-worked version, I'm concerned that aircraft will be able to spot Minotaur from beyond her AA range with impunity, rendering Minotaur vulnerable to focused fire from enemy warships.


This may be a case where changes in one area have unintended and undesirable consequences in another.

would be a bit weird to sent heavy damaged planes to an attack ^^

Does anyone know wether they are also planning on extending the times on the Clan Battles League Challenges, at the moment the expiration date is still the 22.01. It doesn't really make sense to have an entire week of Clan Battles without these challenges to back it up. Might just be an overlook, but I'd like to know.

Many of us are asking exactly this. We have pinged Wargaming but to no avail.

 

I doubt it is an oversight because they have been dodging the question so vehemently. Just make sure you finish your missions today.

First of all, you guys have an unique talent to [edited]up the game mechanics. The list below it is just a part of the issues which I've encountered :

  • Invisible Destroyers from 2 or 3 km, simply dissapearing from the view but they are detectable and visible above 10 km or more, where it is almost impossible to hit it - Shimakaze is the cherry on the cake
  • undetectable torps especially up to tier VII destroyers, no matter The Commander have the +25% Torpedo Detection range Skill,
  • ULTRA MEGA SUPER OP ships like Stalingrad, Giulio Caesare, Friedrich Eitel, Texas and so on,
  • MatchMaking system - most of the battles, a total crap,
  • chat banning without a profanity filter - if anybody wants to close your "mouth", just do some reports and that's it ! Chat suspended for at least 1 Day.
  • reward system after the battle (especially credits) A TOTAL MISERY without any logic and here I give you just 2 examples : premium consumable not used, but resupplied with credits or Doublons after every battle,
  • ship integrity (HP) after the battle let's say 70%, but every time the Repair Cost it is the same, and I mean as total damage or destroyed ship (WTF???),
  • undamageable ships - close combat, 5 - 6 km range, full broadside, full salvo with AP shells, aimed ship not damaged and with all that, that full salvo it is simply swallowed with ZERO damage or just something like 1 or 2 k damage ! Like I"m shooting a [edited]ghost ! Nice armor guys ! 
  • daily missions reset clock not synchronized with 50% Exp bonus after the first victory - 50% Exp bonus reset time is 03:00 AM, Daily Mission reset time is 06:15 AM. WHY ??

These issues are just a part but are the most visible so try to be more receptive to it.

Thanks for clarifying, and thanks for actually extending the missions, it would have felt like a kick in the balls to have the season prolongued, without the Missions :D

Is the directives to win the PEF still going to be on until the 29th also ? as im only on the 2nd directive (nearly 3rd) or do you mean the mighty prinz event  ??

We should have it up with a whole week of lead time. I want to make sure the information will not change anymore and since the whole issue is rather complex it is better to do it through a proper portal article.

The directives will also still be available until the update hits, the only thing not being prolonged is the "Nerves of Steel" missions chain.

No they don't learn, learn how the spotting mechanic works.

Nonsense, the only really stealthy torpedoes are hightier deep-water torpedoes at tier IX and X. Though if you only ever start trying to evade torpedoes by the time you spot them yourself of course they're a threat. Use WASD.

Texas OP? Prinz Eitel Friedrich OP? With the first two ships you'd have an argument, but the last two choices just show you're happy to blame just any ship ... PEF being OP, HAH!

Beforehand we had repaircosts reflecting damage sustained, but potatoes used it as an excuse to run for the mapborders and never fight because they'd have to pay repaircosts if they ever get damaged.

Servicecosts now are a fixed value to encourage people to use their ships HP in combat, not hide to save a couple credits.

Why do I usually get spotted first when I charge in my destroyer an enemy destroyer that is sitting smoked up, while I'm not firing my guns at all?

 

Has occurred two times when dropping torpedoes too close to my friendlies (while of course not hitting them since they haven't armed the torpedoes disappear instead of keep traveling towards their actual targets? (by the way, not many people should try this dangerous tactic unless they want to turn pink :)

 

Also those as were stated above.
