It decreases maximum dispersion. That in turn scales along the dispersion formula at all ranges so yes, you get slightly more accurate at every range.

Thanks.

How  to calculate   in every km which  meters accuracy?  Example my Montana  have 298 m dispersion with APR 2 mod upgade at 27.4 km, without APR2 2 mod upgrade 334m dispersion, 334m -11% =  298 m.

This is ok, but  how much dispersion  at 26.4 km without APR 2 , and with APR 2 mod?

I interesting how many meters better dispersion in every km?

To find that out you only need to know whats the dispersion at said distance and then deduct 11% of it? The math never changes.

That's okay,  but i dont know dispersion values. Example   how much dispersion  have Montana at 15 km?

-11 % valid in every km or max range?

I use  AA  guns mod2, but i have  CB skilled captain, and  CB upgrades. After end CB season i  mount back  AA mod2.

If max dispersion is always calculated at max range then range mod makes guns slightly more accurate at fixed range.

Poor reason to use range mod but anyways.

You mean  just in max range better dispersion?

Sorry my English is not that good.

Nope.

Bismarck has 274m dispersion at non-modded max range 21.2km. At 15km the dispersion is 193m. Slap a range mod (+16% range) and Bismarck dispersion reduces to 167m at 15km.

Disclaimer: not sure if the dispersion recuction is linear to min dispersion that happens at some point because you do not have 0m dispersion at 0km range.

R = range in kilometers. Result is horizontal dispersion in meters at this range (vertical is not linear so it can't be calculated like this, but it's quite a bit larger)

  • IJN BBs

    • R*7.3+84

  • US, RN, VMF BBs, Kronstadt

    • R*10+60

  • KM, MN, RM BBs

    • R*9.8+66

  • CA / CL (including Mogami 155s)

    • R*6.9+33

  • DDs, IJN 203mm CAs, Chikuma, Albany, Aurora, Atlanta, Flint

    • R*7.5+15

  • Warspite, Hood, Vanguard

    • R*10.3+51

  • Graf Spee, Alaska, Stalingrad

    • R*8.4+48

  • Mikasa

    • R*7.7+69

For ASM1 bonus you just take that % off of your score. And yes, it's valid at every single distance

In CB AA is useless

Montanas secondaries might aswell not be there

US BBs don't get dispersion in 3rd slot

This leaves only range mod

No, range mod will increase your max dispersion becuase your amx range is now further away, but at the same distance your dispersion remains the same. If it was 193 at 15km it will stay 193 at those 15km (actually Bismarck at 15km with ASM1 would be 198m)

Horizontal dispersion is basically an infinite cone, just because you moved your "base" (max range) closer or further away doesn't mean it will change anything at any other range
