I have been blocked from typing even in my own clan. Not sure how. I am a socialist PC player from the UK... It say I can't add messages as people complained but all I've done is kill people in my new ship, the Warspite... Eitehr reveiw the logs and remove the ban or tell me what I said that is offensive please? Is torpaedo offenseive? Please explain specifically and not with a cut and paste response... I think WG is working on fixing the abusability of this Also chatban isn't issued with the phrase that was deemed "offensive" by those players reporting you, it is issued next time you write something in chat. This may happen even with multiple games in between where you were silent. On a sidenote, I have a theory that despite Karma supposedly doing nothing it does impact how many reports you need before chatban is confirmed on you. I have noticed that with positive Karma, especially when it has climbed up higher I can speak much more freely and for a longer period, just that my Karma starts falling down bit by bit. Meanwhile at 0 Karma it seems as if a single div of 3 people is enough to chatban you (altho WG representatives have repeatedly said that 3 players, especially in a div, is not enough. You can just have a smashing game and not utter a single word and loose as many karma as the enemy team has reports left. Or by getting teamkilled, since that destroyer who launched his torps from teh back line thinks you should have teleported your freddy the great out of the way, or not doing what the so maniest 40%er armchair admiral wants you to do ...... you get the idea :P and to make it an even more perverted system, they abstain from human scrutiny of said system . . . . I know I can be salty sometimes but this is getting out of hand with chat bans left and right. You sometimes need chat to specify what you want to do in a battle, or what target you are going for. And people flag you for apparently no reason. I am fine with a bot being used to filter bad language but stop tossing people off the chat because of hate-filled little kids. Question is do we take their word for that?) this I know. Playing CV and losing a few matches in a row your karma drops to "below zero", then 1 chat and boom chat ban. For what? Nothing really. I even get salty flags for destroying the enemy cv. CV and Karma/chatbans are a toxic combination. You just can't chat when playing CV. You get so much hate. Not because of one ideology or another but because you keep trying to politicize this forum which is out of line and because that word in particular is a combination of liberal and a highly offensive word.
