Raptor Rescue - Low Base XP from whole team after 4 star win - XP Nerf or something else?

Hi all,

 

Just had a 4 star win on Raptor Rescue where the whole team only got 1000 Base XP +/-50 which is a very low Base XP figure for a 4 star win compared to the 1800 base XP +/-100 game the team I had yesterday got for a 5 star win with a similar performance from myself in the same P.E.F (120k damage, 3-4 kills, a few planes/secondaries and still alive).

 

Has something gone a bit wibble with the XP or do we think WG may have tweaked the XP for Ops as other ones give a much higher base XP for a 4 star win, I mean 1k base XP is the starting point usually yet no-one got higher than 1050 XP today.

 

For myself, if 1k base XP games are the new "norm" for a 4 star win in RR then I'll just move back to Co-Op as I can earn more base XP in the 3 games I can play in the time it takes to finish RR.

What is worse, yesterday I got only 2 wins out of 7 games in that Raptor Rescue, a 3 and a 4 stars games that took almost 2 hours of play.

Ive felt that most of the T6 OPs seem to give underwhelming results with less than 5 stars and average results. So the more good players are in one game, the more it will even out the XP, leaving everyone with a mediocre amount.

 

In a 5 star game today, i managed 1646 XP as top earner, while the other 6 had an average of 1060... So it aint that good even with 5 stars :cap_hmm:

 Yup. The better thing to do is take a premium ship there, but even then you're better off doing randoms (if you're any good).

Even if Arizona gets T8 I can still usually make more credits. I only do it for fun, tried it this time to see if they had kicked out the CVs.

But nope, they still have them and still goes the same.

Raptorresuce has gotten harder due to IJN gun buff. And before that, all enemy ships in this op have fully specd captains. Did they also have camo/flags? Anyway, their 203mm AP shells with botaim to the citadel really shows that CA/CL can't sustain if aggro, so BB have to keep up and tank.
For the XP part, it seems personal performance does weight more in. Had a 5star when 1 guy dies to the first torp, gets like base 250xp. And 1 afk BB tried to catch up, but got intercepted by kamakaze /kuma/cv just south of Raptor Spawn, got base450xp.

So, is not just to me that this kind of thing happens.

 

If it were in a regular day... but it's not. it is at the end of PEV missions.

 

I'm wasting my economical flags like crazy with no or very little effect in Raptor or in Random.

 

I'll turn to co-op very soon. Same earnings less fuzz, more Battles per hour.
