Would either of you have commented if OP wasn't a good player? There's an implication that he's worth paying attention to because he's not as bad as a lot of other players - or is it because he's complaining about something you agree on? OP is welcome to do whatever he wants but when his first post is a goodbye that shows a distinct lack of understanding (torps don't get dropped straight down), I struggle to garner much sympathy.   What about dropping down a couple of tiers and making an effort to learn the mechanics? Is that worthless advice because OP isn't a 45% potato? @Saiyko's point about "finding relief in one of the payed [sic] options to skip those tiers" says more about his approach than it does about OP's choices.       Absolutely agree and it's the main reason why I've played most of my battles in mid-tiers. I have a variety of premium ships to play, I can train captains because a lack of 4-point skills isn't the game-killer it can be further up the tree and the standard is competitive enough to remain entertaining.   Although I was accused of being a coward the other day because my mid-tier game count means I must be scared of playing tier 10.
