Stalingrad captain skills and upgrades

I have 18 point captain on  Stalingrad  with 5 undistributed  points. Where to put the remaining 6 points?  Vigialance or fire prevention?

I use currently these upgrades

 

Which upgrades is more useful in 2-3 slots? AA guns mod2 vs aiming systems mod 1 and  steering gears mod 2 vs  dmg con sys  mod 2?

Fire Prevention

 

Without a second thought! Firstly most (good) players will use HE anyway on a Stalingrad and secondly the burning time will soon™ (haha) be increased from 45sec to 60sec like the other big cruises aka battle cruisers.

 

Expert Loader (1) is also a good choice for battle cruisers as switching between ammo types is an essential part of good cruiser play.

With 0.8.0 patch coming concealment nerf, and Stalingrad get worse concealment than currently... 14.2-14.3 km in 0.8.0 :Smile_facepalm:

If coming  60 sec burning time and concealment nerf... Really bad situtation for Stalingrad..

Not really.

Stalingrad has enough power reserves to deal with that, especially since the CE change applies to all ships except DD.

A WG employee said it in game. All "battle cruisers" or "super cruisers" or however you wanna call them will get unified 60 sec fire duration. Can it be trusted, we'll see. :etc_red_button:

 

And +1 for fire prevention and adrenaline rush

I personally run full tank build (without SE :Smile-_tongue:) on all my Russian “cruisers” so I only have the one captain and his skills are shown here. Hope it helps

Slot 2: I wanted to buff my "main course" as much as possible, so went with Aiming Sys M1. (Overall I have no AA upgrades at all on my Stalingrad and it shows negatively if there's a CV, but that's my decision to gamble.)

Slot 3: Stalingrad (or Moskva) aren't really made to be ballerinas, so DmgConSys M2 definitely my choise. Especially if her burntime really gets changed to 60s.

 

Znamensky's buffed High Alert is also a nice option, as you can get your DCP to around 46s cooldown.

Captain - I'd say FP, and then the remaining 2 points on HA (as you have improved version on your capt) / JoaT (normally a better skill than HA) / AR - whichever of these 3 you prefer

 

Upgrades - I don't see much point in buffing Stalins AA, so aiming because being more accurate is nice. And dmg con / rudder is purely a question of preference. However, I'd recommend the dmg con

Thanks for answers. I m tryng currently this build,  for me is important expert loader. But problem is no  AR in this build. And i use currently steering gears mod 2, because of not  love static gameplay.

Hey there guys, please drop some wisdom in here as well. Build like in the pic or take advantage of Znamensky’s enhanced HA and drop what ? Cuz (that enhanced) HA, BoS and FP they all really good against fires, but I cannot have them all and EM as well. So, what do you guys think ? Thank you in advance !

I use this build with the flag i have 45.6 secs cd on dcp , i find going for AA pointless , if a CV wants to strike you he will , heck he can slingshot into the blob and drop you .

i think i will keep all anti-fire stuff, and drop EM, i see BoS very useful :)
