Soon new steel ship...

Go into arsenal, sort by "ships" there is a ship called "Soon" with a faded texture and steel price. Didnt see anything about this in the patch notes, but i wonder what ship it could be? Azuma would make sense, but that ship hasnt even started testing yet, and i dont think wg would write "soon" if its several months until it comes?

Seems unlikely for a ship to be sold for steel and fxp, as fxp is sooo much easier to get.

 

Im thinking it must be a special ship that has already been tested, otherwise they wouldnt put the "soon" in-game

It's just a Soviet Roon, but basically a Roon with railguns, radar, superheal and a plasma deflector shield and a radar jammer.

I dont really get the azuma tbh, it seems like it spends most of its time kiting and he spamming, just like a zao, except im pretty sure the zao has more dpm, better concealment better handling 12km torps etc etc.

 

What exactly does it bring over a zao, except for a bit of hp and the occasional ap volley?

The thing with Azuma, it's not a specialised ship, it can do a bit of everything to a good degree but it dosent exel at any one specificaly. 

I kina like it tbh.

Killed an Azuma RAIN quite easily using Zao, was almost a one on one.

I had a tester yesterday in my team playing the Azuma. He did pretty well in her.

Do you think the placeholder was put there by accident or intentional, between two tier 10s? If ti was Wichita or Lazo, placeholder would be between Flint and Black, wouldn't it?

If the WG is using actual faded picture. Than this picture is deffenetly of US CA. With 99% certanty ship in this picture is USS Wichita, but in Atlantic configuration for some reason.

Yes, it might just be random placeholder picture. But it is of Wichita.

They finally announced some Austro-Hungarian ships. Will the be steel? coal? free xp? dubloons? money? Or maybe mission/marathon based?

As they'll be probably tier 1-5 ships, I doubt they will be steel. But who knows? The Tegetthoff-class would be slightly below mediocre at tier 5, but among the most powerful at tier 4.

Theres no such thing as a Boise class. Boise is a Brooklyn class.

 

Logic says its Azuma. But the ship in the picture is definately Wichita. So its just a question of how much the picture is related to the ship.

That russian DD is ofcourse a possibility but that hasnt even begun testing yet so it seems unlikely.
