Wasn't she supposed to look like a "mini-Yamato"? I don't quite get that impression form that model. I was hoping for her to be prettier, honestly (and have torpedoes:Smile_Default:)

Looks a bit weird, like Izumo weird.

 

It looks like they mixed a lot of different Japanese design elements, without proper understanding why it was done that way in the first place.

Actually looks accurate to form, but then the IJN did have the design ready to build and therefore it had fully completed technical drawings. I quite like how the superstructure looks like that of an Atago and a Yamato had a bastard child. 

Side note, setting her up for AA, she will be a monster, all those 100mm guns....yum. Let's hope we get to enjoy that a bit before the rework hits and ruins it.

Why does everything have to happen before the CV Rework?

 

What is really gonna change when it hits, that you cant already do now?

Well, since i looked at the model, had to take a few pics, because unlike ingame there you can kinda look at it as if you were on the ship. :Smile_Default:

If I’m correct, I believe that the 3rd or 4th Yamato designs has the 100mm turrets instead of the 130mm.

 

otherwise decent looking.

Because AA in the reworked system appears inadequate and is conceptionally next to useless to protect anything other than yourself considering longrange AA like those 100mm DPs is incredibly unreliable in the rework.

Freecam. If the ship is moving - B key (while in freecam) while pointing at the point you want to lock on to. So you actually can do it in game aswell :Smile_trollface:

I usually use Training Rooms for that :Smile-_tongue:

 

But yeah, if you get used to Freecams (not a mod btw - in case anyone was wondering about that -, it's built-in by WG) controls it can serve as a useful looking around opportunity mid battle every one in a while
