It's not a big deal but I'm really surprised, time and time again, that WG never bothers to translate the Russian on all 'work in progress' screens and artwork, even when they end up in articles in other languages. They've got the capacity to do it in 15 minutes for all supported languages.

We wish. Sadly, it seems however, odd tier CV's (t5, 7 & 9) taken out from the game completely. Even Kaga and Saipan will uptiered.

What I mean is that those nation barely left Port during the war, meaning they are cash grabbing on the respective national markets, place holders to keep new stuff flowing and just "dilute the supper" as much as possible; just think how long it took to have the Royal Navy in game and how spaced in time the new line have been presented.

I bet the next line after the Rusky will not be from Regia Marina, but the French destroyer line: my biggest fear is that the Italian lines are kept waiting to throw a valuable card much later, when the game will become stale and they'll need something able to keep it afloat for a few more months. World of tanks, with a dwindling public and more and more boring Russian premium every year is a good example: they delayed the Italian line so much that it kept people interest just for a few months, but the data about the gaming public still interested in that game shows an unstoppable haemorrhage: wait for the Italian Tank destroyers next year and then goodbye, unless they start creating an Armoured Warfare clone.

We will see the Italian Navy tech tree when the game will be about to die.

Yaaaaay, more Ruski paper ships from Lenin/Stalin imagination from drunken night votka parties... While Regia Marina (everything from them - BB-s, CA-s and DD-s) we can dream of, I wont even mention other WWII countries with their ships... Thx WG! :)

I dont understand lots of tierVIII premium BB or other ship, because there is nohing in this tier. Normal ranked and CB always tierX.

Russian stuff killed off WarThunder completely.  Moved to Tanks.

 

Russian tanks killed WOT stone dead. Moved to WOWS.

 

So i am not looking forward to a line of not only Russian Battleships, but a paper line full of them.

Very very welcome to Russian BB, I am happy!!!. About the T X name "Kreml" it sound really off topic (Like if we have an USA BB called White House, ITA Quirinale, UK 10 Downing Street or D Schloss Bellevue... naaaaa! (нет!). We have and you give name to others wich are and remember Russian History: Imperator Nikolai I, Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya, Sovetsky Soyuz, Vladivostok (Military town), ecc... . So I do not know the history of the project for this BB T X but... it will be very nice and "in topic" with all others Russians ships if you will considering to rewiew this name. I think that Красная Звезда (Krasnaya Zvezda) "Red Star" will be great for the top tier Russian BB! What do you think about it @The_EURL_Guy ?

Also good but is strictly conected with a submarine (the movie) I still prefer Красная Звезда (Reed Star) but Red October as you say is anyway much better than  Kreml. Even your proposal is a good alternative. TY!

I agree, that would be a much better name for her.

tier X can be only STALIN... but if tier VIII is LENIN... im not sure what to better fit to tier IX... maybe PUTIN not sure about this.

Maybe you can do a (international) poll about the prefered name for the RU Tier X BB.

That could increase player involvement and it does not look like you will launch the line any time soon. Therefore there should be enough time to reconsider her name.

If I remember well, ColonelPete, they changed for two times, months ago, the name of RU T I Cruiser... From Orlan to Eagle of the see and after again to Orlan. As told before I hardly hope they change it in Красная Звезда (Krasnaya Zvezda) "Red Star" Or Red October as 1MajorKoenig also suggested because any name is better than Kreml. @The_EURL_Guy @Crysantos @MrConway ... is there anybody out there? (LOL!)

I think that once again just like how quickly they plastered submarines all over WoWS to cover up the rework 'updates' the fact that they quickly overshadowed the criminally hash job of a carrier 'rework' with a 100% fictious line of battleships from a nation with no place in a naval game screams volumes about *edited* how 'well' the new carriers are going to be received by the general public.

Bear in mind it is still early days for the tier X ship, as the model is not even ready yet.

 

The name might still change - so wait and see :)
