Just to be completely sure before I go pulling out my Visa card....am I correct in thinking, that when having (eg) 360 days of premium before 0.7.12 goes live, you end up (when only playing ships) with 360 plus 360 days premium days to be used in WoWS?

Yes and no

 

You keep your 360 days of normal cross-game premium, but it runs at the same exact time as the WoWS only premium time. So you get the same exact time left either way, just that your deal is "scaled up"

thanks...so if you don't care for cross-gaming premium, everything  stays the same....already thought it was too good to be true...allthough the 'press release' was not 100% clear, at least not for me....*putting Visa away* lol

It doesn't stay the same, especially if you don't care for the cross-game premium. If you want to use it only in WoWS you get more XP (+65% instead of +50%) for the exact same price

Sorry to bother, but I still don't understand the conversion part fully. In my case I currently have no premium. If I buy 30 days today, will I have 60 days after the patch or still only 30 but with the increased XP rate inside WoWs? 

If I understood correctly, I only have 30 days after patch but with the "benefit" of having 15% more XP in WoWs and still 30 days Wargaming Premium running parallel. So if I would buy 30 days after the patch, I would have to select if I would like bonuses in all titles or just in WoWs - the only advantage in my situation would be, that I have the possibility to play the other titles (which I don't) AND have the 15% XP increase in WoWs at the same time. Is that correct or did my brain [edited]it up again?

You will have both - normal PA and WoWS PA, but they both run at the same time, and only the highest bonus is counted (so WoWS PA)

Yeah, after the patch you get to choose

That's the "beauty" of it, at least when viewed from WGs side

 

If you play... lets say WoT and WoWS, and you want PA on both. Will you settle for the worse WoWS option, or will you buy 2 premium accounts to run at the same time? $$$$$

 

Of course, if you play only WoWS - there is no reason to buy the normal PA after the patch, this new one is a pure benefit to you
