Had WoWs streams open for more then combined 17 hours now, and I have still only recieved the first container you get when you link the accounts. Is the drop rate really THAT LOW? It's just not worth it, when other games run promotions like this it's a about a a drop every hour or 2......

Same here. Is it really working?

Never even got the container for linking my accounts and from what i gathered from the support they can't do anything and it's all on twitchs end.. Is that true?

Or do you need Twitch prime to be able to get containers?

Edit: Nvm got them now.

Never recieved a twitch container and have had my account linked for some time before this event. Wasted several hours watching streams and still not a single container. Awesome event, making you waste time for no reason.

Linked my account to Twitch on 7th December. Received my 1st Twitch container after playing a battle.

then

7th December I watched EU and NA official streams, was even actively chatting. Many hours and I got 0 containers. Next day on the 8th December I watched Crisantos' stream and later Flambass stream which apparently have container drops enabled. After about 4 hours I stopped watching.

I got zero containers :D

Same here, watch Friday stream, no drops.  Enjoyed the stream tho.

Apparently the drop chance is lower than the chance of getting a premium ship from the Xmas containers...

I have got 3 containers at the start of this giveaway together with the achievement. Then after ca 24 hrs of "watching" another one. Today, after another ca 25, the third one, with the message

Quote

Two days with us grants you a container. Commander! Stay tuned to get extra rewards!

Seems to be a daily bonus for people that watched X hours of streams.

Even if I had 3 monitors I wouldn't watch a stream.

I've no intention to make an Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat or whatever account just for this.

I'm here to play.

And sometimes a few minutes on the forum.

As we have received quite a few questions about how the drops work and when one can expect them, let me try to answer them with a quick FAQ.

  • Upon linking your account for the first time, you will receive one container, it may take some time for this to appear in your port (this is due to the delay in API's between Twitch and WoWS) - If you do not receive the container within 24 hours, ensure you are linked correctly (You should have the Twitch Achievement) then contact Customer Support through the Ticket System. You will not get additional containers for unlinking and relinking accounts.

  • You must be signed in to Twitch with your linked account and watching any World of Warships streamer (Does not need to be the official channel, the streamer just needs to have drops enabled - not sure? ask the streamer you're watching), to have a CHANCE to receive Twitch Containers.

  • Every hour you have a CHANCE to earn a container, if you do not receive a container, your chance will be increased the next hour.

  • Twitch Containers are automatically granted via the system.

  • Drop rates have been adjusted since the previous soft launch trial period, they were intentionally higher during this period to gauge how the system worked and the interest in players for this.

  • The Twitch Prime Port was a limited time offer during the Twitch Prime promotion, linking your account will not grant you this port.

We will be monitoring the feedback from Containers and reviewing rates as well as contents going forward.

Please let me know should you have any more questions!

  • There is a limit on how many containers you can earn per monthly period.

So you say "there is a limit", but not how much twitch containers can a viewer get per month!

Please tell us how many we can get per month at maximum? Is it 5, 10, 20 or how many?

If you have the same twitch account linked to both regions, you will get drops for both regions while watching on that account.

Hmm, i'm not so sure about this anymore. I have linked my NA and EU account to my Twitch account. It took almost 3 days before i received any twitch container. Here is the concerning thing. I have received 3 twitch container on NA yesterday but i have not received any containers on EU. Both region accounts are linked to the same Twitch account, Twitch drop obviously works because i received containers on NA. So what happened to the EU containers?

We are not willing to disclose the full drop chances and conditions, there is not much more we can say about it.

We don't want this to be an incentive to idle in Twitch chat until you have collected the maximum number of containers, its supposed to be an encouragement and reward for those who help and support our streamers and community contributors by watching their streams.

Just go watch some stream, there are some really good ones out there! :)

Am 6.12.2018 um 09:38, MrConway sagte:

We hope that the drops will attract some more viewers to their channels!

So is it just me? Am I being old-fashioned again?

Or does seriously nobody at Wargaming Marketing realize what an incredibly bad look this is?

The message is "We need to bribe people to watch streams of our game."

And "watching" is really glorifying it because what people of course do is just turn on the stream, mute the sound and do something else.

I imagine even banner ads would be more effective.

So the only way anyone at Wargaming benefits from this is if they can turn up at a middle marketing management meeting and present some uptic in viewer stats to an even older fart than me who really doesn't get the first thing about streaming, social media etc. which I really didn't think would be the kind of person to work there, let alone have some kind of leadership position.

(Then again, I mean Rudy Giuliani is currently the top cybersecurity honcho of the US government, so what do I know... but I digresssss... anyway...)

As a user who can still remember the bad old dial-up days, this kind of useless, nay detrimental waste of bandwidth makes me seriously ... unhappy.

Sorry, until the drop rate increases, there is no incentive for me to watch your twitch channel when I could be playing Warships instead!

Those of us that work & have kids have limited enough time in the evenings ;)

I think for the community they way you can drop your viewers onto the next server region is good but I noticed my stream being hogged for not many viewers, instead of being anooyed they should realise it is a community event and reaches a final game however time taken should be taken into account and run the events over a longer period, asian server I noticed however am sure they wouldn't mind returning event hostage at all, I just noticed language is all,  am new to the streaming thing as infringement was getting me muted anyway as I love playing tunes being a solo player for almost all my time except the beta tanks. anyway shoot well and torp better o7 commanders

Lots of really good streams, lots of tips, lots of news, some prize draws if that's your fancy for being there.. And some for just socialising and playing warships. Some misuse the streams, but the delay (a few seconds) makes stream sniping not so easy. I love being a twitch prime member for several reasons: 1. I get Amazone Prime Video, 2. I can support 1 streamer once a year with a subscription (As I understand they get some coin for this), 3. It's where you get the newest news :-), should have said freshest. 4. Sometimes you just need something to listen to, I play WoWs whilst listening to twitch, and I switch to twitch when something interesting is happening.. The draws and these containers are just a small icing on the cake, nothing I'll do for the rewards alone..

These containers are nice, but it would be more perfect if you could also get some kind of special twitch camos for it :Smile_great:

Perhaps because many have more than one monitor?

I frequently have a Twitch stream on my secondary monitor on the left side, while playing on my primary.

I could not go back to a single screen after having two for a while.

totally agree...

same goes for ladies ...
