Its a cross-promotion with Twitch, which really has a very varied audience. If you're not interested that is entirely fine, there will after all be a lot of other stuff to earn in game :)

If you have the same twitch account linked to both regions, you will get drops for both regions while watching on that account.

I watch twitch anyway, so I'll get them eventually.

And I'm a bit strapped for credits lately due to having bought quite some ships and modules.

Same here - 10k games played over almost 4 years and almost £1000 spent on this game and WoT and I will get nothing while some scrub who joined just weeks ago will. F**king useless idea.

Just make a twitch account (it's free), link it to your WoWS account, and then "watch" WoWS-streams (also free, no need to subscribe, following is free). "Watch". There is no need to actually watch, you can just click on the streamer, set the resolution to 160P and mute the sound, and let it run in the background, while you browse/game/work on another tab or screen or computer. It's easily farmable, free & requires no effort.

How can you figure out if a container had been dropped on your account?

I got Twitch on all day now and i have 0 containers or any notification etc.

The news clearly state start 18:00 CET (UTC+1) which is in a little more than 1 hour after this post. So if you watch twitch all day before 18:00 CET and get no drop.. well ;)

Please do something about the incessant chat spammers. It's a waste of time watching the streams and trying to interact with the streamers and other viewers while all the time these people are spamming the !drop command etc.

I got fed up and switched it off. It's more worthwhile doing something else.

If you just want spammers to watch then fine, carry on.

I've gotten 3 when logging in today. From the previous drops, I'd say you need to wait a few hours after watching a stream, for the crates to be credited.

One funny container. I have not seen a supercontainer for three months. Wages every month, and what do I get? NOTHING. WG's policy, give the Vaseline to old players nothing. And why do testers have access to chetat?

If you already have linked would you get a container ? I have tried unlinking and re-linking (worked for a previous WOT one) but still no luck :(

@MrConway Could you just clarify how exactly this works for me thanks?

 

What is the maximum amount i can get/month? How long do i have to watch between every container? Do i get more if i watch 10 streams at the same time? Etc etc. there is hardly any useful info on how this works.

 

I usually watch streams quite a lot, but i like numbers and solid facts, and i really dont like not knowing anything about how these drops work.

Had WoWs streams open for more then combined 17 hours now, and I have still only recieved the first container you get when you link the accounts. Is the drop rate really THAT LOW? It's just not worth it, when other games run promotions like this it's a about a a drop every hour or 2......

As an older gamer myself, I would like to apologize on behalf of all the self entitled geezers that have been whining in this thread. I honestly do not know what they where thinking when they replied, but again, I am very sorry. Some of us have manners and also knows how to operate technology.

PS One question. Will there be a monthly limit to the amount of containers just like in the testphase?
