Once again, after all the fat cash i have thrown at you during my whole game time(well above 1k euro total), i have pleasure to get bit fat [edited] from lootboxes, while i watch people all around(even in my clan) rubbing their luck in my face. Ive knows people that won 1, 2,4 ships from just latest black boxes. All i get is THREE. LITERALLY THREE camos, or AT BEST 5k FXP. The hell is this crap? Sorry for the rant, but at this point i am disheartened, and i need to vent it somewhere... I have supported this game heavily since the beggining of open beta. I have tons of premium ships, and about 25% TX ships all with premium camo. And at this point i feel heavily disheartened, watching players(very often free ones) all around get chain luck... Am i just stupid, feeding WG with my cash, to get nothing at all? Cause atm i do feel like a total donkey... Though being a matter of opinion I don't think WG is over stretching the lines in lootboxes: the "prizes" you can gain from them are clearly stated. Now the "banned ships" from Christmas boxes are the only ones I find fishy in their politics. But other than that I don't see any problem with the other presented boxes. AFAIK wows as a FTP game is actually perfectly playable without spending a RL dime. However they can't work and go for free. So the gesture of people by their free will willing to pay for things and thus get rewarded isn't that unfair. And drawing a rare prize from a free container, which all players can win (P2P or FTP all the same) is something I don't mind. Nobody's forcing you to buy things. So, only the banned ship thing I mentioned, I don't see any objection in the monetization WG is implying in this game. All is by free will. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Most people lose out on gambles and you aren't buying yourself to better luck, just buying some excitement before you've revealed the gambled objects. Other games has lootboxes that contain absolutely nothing... its your choice whether you want to buy a box with a chance to get something expensive....
