I thought that the authentic pronunciation of "Yamato"  was more like "Yamma-to", rather than the "Ya-Mah-To".

The Japanese Ranguage is pronounced in consonant-vowel pairings, so Yah-Mah-Toh is the correct pronunciation.

Similarly, Myogi/Myoko are Myoh-Gee and Myoh-Koh, not Mai-Oh-Gee and Mai-Oh-Koh.

It's similar to the World of Tanks adverts. They're good adverts too.

 

The Warships advert does capture the arcadey, not too serious nature of this game quite well.
