I was a Beta tester, but somehow ended up with the indignity of a "weekend tester" forum tag. Pah! As if I was some sort of casual lightweight weekend promotion warrior! The humiliation has burned deep within me all these years, and I think my grievance should be redressed.

Never noticed this but seeing as I've been a registered forumite since August 2012 and was in the Closed Beta, and have the in game emblem and flag, can I ask @MrConway that I be manually added please?  I've looked under edit profile and I don't have the option in there.

I think to get the beta tester tag you had to do 'n' battles in the last months of the beta.  So, if you had been active for a while during the beta  but then were not active in the closing periods you miss out,

 

I'm fairly sure they had something similar in WoT.

Well i started playing during the Open Beta,

so i didnt get an Arkansas but because of the Statements of @MrConwayi guess it just matters if you were playing already at the Alpha, Closed Beta or Open Beta to get an Title.

If you logged into the forums during Beta, you got the tag.

The closed beta weekends where prior to the open beta .... I know it feels a bit wrong but being a weekend tester is more exclusive than being an open beta scrub

 

( I completely agree we should be compensated though ....  a "Iwaki weekend" would do fine WG. No need to change it from it's "Iwaki Alpha" configuration )

Well i didnt get it, i checked already if i have any options to check or uncheck. But im very certain that i logged in during the Open Beta, maybe connected to an Post Count?

I know for sure that I did @MrConway, I’ve been registered here since 2012. I’ve even got access to my closed beta stats (see pic below) And while I’m at it, in December I received my ‘First anniversary of WoWs’ patch and camos, as you can see I’ve been playing since CBT so no idea what’s going on there! 🤪
