Warships Premium Account

I welcome this, I only play WoWS, so bring it on. I would have like a high XP bonus for giving up premium for 2 other games.

Whereas I am literally of two minds here. I do play both WoWS and WoT, currently more into WoWS. However, I'm a little worried they are going to end up separating the two types of premium account some time in the future. It is already somewhat inconvenient having separate premium currencies, having to actually pay for premium time per game would make it much less attractive for me at least.

the update should run five weeks and you can get the PEF in the fourth so...

I have a 12-14 day break right in the middle of the Christmas/New year period where I will be unavailable to play the game.

This happens every year.

I think you can see my problem.  (And since I am a big fan of my German Fleet i particularly want the PEF :Smile_sad:)

Meaning what it all depends on is the reative difficulty and/or grindiness of the "Mighty Prinz campaign". As well as obviously the same for the "In the Name of His Highness!" event itself.

Interesting thought: The Royal Navy event starts fully anew every week. Your progress or lack thereof from previous weeks have no bearing on whether you receive rewards the next week when the next directive arrives (barring the accumulation of guineas you might watch out for). I really hope they don't screw up this system with weekly accomplishments needed for the ultimate Prinz Eitel Friedrich prize.

We'll have a lot of work this xristmas.:cap_wander:

Basic pack of Vanguard and Dreadnought cost 58.73€

Basic pack of Vanguard cost 46.57€

Basic pack of Texas, "tier V" cost 8.99€

so, Dreadnought is expensive than a tier V BB. It cost 12.16€

Someone in Wargaming control that things? maybe they very busy discovered new beers in Praga.

I don't care that the V&D pack have a 25 missions of exp until  12/31.

The introduction of STEEL in the first place was wrong, basically it is a currency held (in any quantity that matters (ie. you can buy something with it)) by unicum players only.

With Steel:

  • You can earn it in lowest ranks of CB /Ranked
  • You can get it from SCs
  • You can get Steel Ships, eve if slowly

Without Steel:

  • Flint and Black are locked behind enough R1s in Ranked
  • Stalingrad and Burgogne are locked behind enough seasons with 30+ wins in Typhoon
  • You don't stand a chance to get them

Yeah, clearly a bad system for you :fish_palm:

This premium change when does it apply?

I do like the idea of spending the doubloons I still have on premium time for both games. Is that still an option or was this change just done and I gotta deal with the ( to me ) inferior version?
Also if I were to buy premium time in WoT does it then still apply for WoWs? If I buy premium time in WoWs can I CHOOSE what type I want?

Okinawa

Cap B seems like it will be on constant stalemate, unless one of the teams doesn't take interest in it.

The North cap seems too open but with limited way to get inside.

Ps: Today i played Land of Fire map, it had a decent sized island that was nowhere in the minimap

and other islands were not in the right position taking into account the minimap G2-H2

Texas is on sale. Normal price was around 20€.

After two years of gifting her to new or returning players, WG decided to lower her price for veterans/people who managed to miss the promotions.

still getting these freeze bug issues after opening the RN event menu to check stats. tried everything from different graphics settings (windowed, full-screen, borderless, etc.) over a complete uninstall and new reinstall. a friend logged in ONCE on my computer to play ONE game, after that the crashes started to happen. also problems with the log in screen. won't accept the saved log in data. always have to delete the "preset" password and type it in exactly the same again. 2nd try always works... you fine people better look into these kind of bugs, as it is really pissing me off and makes playing the game neigh impossible

PLZ make The "Steel Monsters" Campaign posible to buy from our port with doublons..not only from premium shop..

Will never happen sadly enough. WG already has your money, why would they offer something additional in exchange for that, you'd better pay up a second time.

I sincerely hope the same. But I assume that the devs are not completely out of touch and didn't go full WoT, and they will use the same principle of last year, but only in the "directives"-form, and not the "campaign"-form. So 5 weeks of an event, 4 directives. 1 directive runs for 5 weeks, the following for 4 weeks,... If you miss the first week, you can still pick in and do the missions of the first week's directive in the 2nd (or 3rd or 4th or 5th) week.

If that's the case, it's actually a QOL-increase, since you now don't need to cancel grindy tasks of your permanent campaigns to replace them by the temporary missions from the NY-campaign.

You might ask in the technical section for proper answers.. what comes to mind is maybe clearing your cache might be worth trying.

@MrConway?

I'm not sure if you're not confusing campaigns and "events" with weekly directives. So far the "events" have directives that you wil miss if you don't play that week, however you can join next week and will be able to complete that week directive just fine.

Technically, if that system remains the same, you should be able to get PEF just by playing last week directive. Unless you have to buy her (in the Arsenal, I'd assume in that case) with some currency you get by completing each directive. In that case, you can easily miss out on PEF by not playing for a week. And also in that case, changing the way directives stay available - based on your idea - would have been great and the only way for some people to get PEF.

Either way, this needs to be clarified.

I spent 20 minutes trying to find the exact date 0.7.11 will end and 0.7.12 will be launched (due to the stupid Guiness event). When is it???

Around three weeks from now for a regular patch or two weeks, since the last stage of the UK Arc seems to last only three weeks.

Only two directives remain. The one that is active now and ends next Wednesday (5.Dec). And the last one ending on the 12th. Supposedly next patch comes the 13th December then.

Why oh why would you lock the Snowflake special out of Clan Battles? I'd wager that most CB players stick to a few ships in that mode and play them a lot. The snowflakes are well and truly dusted off in this case. I really hope that this is just for the PT and it will be possible to earn the special in Clan Battles when 0.7.12 goes live. In general, more events, campaigns and missions should be possible to complete in Clan Battles. A significant time commitment is required to earn the top rewards from the CB season. Excluding missions and campaign tasks is punitive (e.g.: there's no reason why the current Polish patch mission shouldn't count CB exp). I've heard WG reps say that this is because it may lead to players focussing more on their task and missions than winning the game, but that is a matter for clans to deal with. There are plenty of tasks which do not conflict with the aim of winning the match and any player who prioritises completing tasks over winning the game is hurting only his own clan, and they have the power to exclude that player in future.

We're not planning to separate the original premium time, we just want to add an additional choice for players who only play World of Warships.

Warships premium will be available from update 0.7.12. You can of course still purchase regular premium time the same way you have before, regular premium time will remain unchanged.

Correct, you will be able to complete the directives retroactively!

WG, next time you change a map COMPLETELY, please just introduce the new version and keep the old ? I mean the new "Okinawa" will play totally differently from the old one as you have change basically everything except cap circle positions .... Same with Islands of Ice ... the previous version was decent, the new version is not bad, but we could have both in the game ...

Yes,yes, yes, but right now if you want to buy the  Dreadnought you must buy it with Vanguard and Vanguard alone is 12 € cheap, so right now the Dreadnought ,tier III, is 3€, more less, expensive tan Texas,Tier V, it is true and you know it.

Yes, stuff on sale might be cheaper than stuff not on sale :Smile_great:

I once bought a first class train ticket on sale, because second class was more expensive.

Glad you are learning about sales policies in modern market economies.
