Did anyone get "Black" ship from 5 non-Premium "Black Friday" containers (rewarded for playing Combat Mission Chain ""Thankful and grateful")?

Yes it is. If you get a lot of BF containers and get nothing inside of them, you get angry and frustrated with the game because you made an effort and didn't get a reward. Every number of BF containers should have attached an ASSURED reward. I know people that got ALL the BF Ships, and many of us got NOTHING. It's a bad way to distribute rewards because most of us are not ludopaths and don't find this exciting at all.

You get a reward for every container.

Expecting a Tier VIII ship for free for everyone is just not realistic.

Some people have too high expectations.

little story:

we were in  a 3 man division, we were down  500 points and 4 ships and me and my friend ( jutland and fletcher) were the last alive, we managed to sink all the enemy ships but the cv, got 2 caps, my friend in the fletcher got into the smoke and was capping the last cap ( he was on 500 hp) meanwhile i was spotting if the cv tried to blind torp him. He was having an heated discussion with my other friend ( in the roon, but was dead) and didn't noticed that he got out of smoke...and the cv nuked him with a bomb drop and we lost a spectacular comeback in a very idiotic way. We where so much angry/ having a laugh at him that he sent us 1 black Friday premium container each....

 

....And we both won 2 Tirpitz Black

Got Tirpitz-B from today's 1st container. I kinda hoped you could buy the normal perma-camo for it or the Magnu-S would have worked on it. It was my intention to buy Tirpitz eventually but now it makes no sense.

Not a single ship so far from all free boxes from the calendar and all but the last 2 from missions plus one premium box I bought impulsively. Not complaining.  C'est la vie.

It's so painful seeing everyone getting so lucky, I'm seriously tempted to buy another 6 pack... 

 

Is the odds of a ship in the premium containers about 3:1? I'm weighing up whether to buy a Massachusetts B instead...

Not everyone is getting lucky. It's just easier to write 'I got a ship!' than 'Nothing.' so most people get nothing and they don't talk about it.

 

If you want a ship it's better to just buy it. Sure you can gamble with boxes but that's ... well, gambling. Expect to be disappointed.

A Mass B, which is a copy paste of the Massa is the same price as 7 lootboxes.

Just save your money.

And please take this as well as you can, but please save your money until you're a bit more experienced as higher tier.

Yep I wanted only massa, so I just went and bought what I want 0 rng included in getting it and since I wanted massa for a while and the black permacamo looks sexy as hell I am happy with the purchase

ofc I got nothing from all 8 of them and ofc none SC - everybody around me getting something ( Massac. from normal box, steel and ect )  but all I got was finished  British campaign and camo for ships I'll probably will never use :(

First thing I did, when the containers hit the shop was to buy the biggest pack(got the money for this and Christmas prepared in advance). I got all 4 black ships in the 24 container and lots of other goodies. From my POV these containers are worth it after a long series of thrash in the premium shop. Thus I received only some camos and freexp from the standard containers (couldn’t be anything else, as I opened only after I opened my 24 premium ones)

 

tbh I was expecting 2 black ships max from the 24 packs, so I was pleasantly suprised

In the last container of the daily rewards I got the Atago Black which will join the Atago and Takao...

 

Still the last 2 from the mission chain to get...

I was thinking of the Atago, but I was warned not to get it unless you are VERY good at the game.  I have played a lot of Bismarck and Cleveland?
