I noticed that your ram is 4gb only that seems a little low when running a 64 bit Windows 7. I recommend to make it at least 8gb. Higher ram are better it gives much headroom when running games.

Actually that was the RAM that system used at that time. In fact my old PC has 8GB DDR-3 RAM . See the arrow.

"We're facing a similar situation with DirectX versions lower than 10.1. Supporting those versions takes a lot of time and effort on the part of the Dev Team, which in turn slows down the development of the game" - ah, the development of the game. Making copies of ships: Massa, Alabama. Or Bart... Or Mushi... Or "Black ships" LOL

There was someone with 64GB RAM :cap_horn: so what is your max ussage of RAM, 7 GB probablly? xD

Does this mean there might finally be some optimization in port?

It's retarded that a company manages to utilize a GPU for 99% in campaign screen, its displaying a picture yet is uses 100% GPU, for what?

A 4 year old could code that better.

Every time I go to the campaign screen it's like there's an aircraft carrier launching all it's planes in my PC case. I can literally hear every fan in my PC spin up to display something that could well be a jpg.

Even in regular port view GPU usage (85%) is higher then it is in game (75%).

Oh sorry I don't speak Greek  but my mistake indeed that 4gb is your GPU ram thanks for pointing that out...

So my delima is this. Instead of my old PC monitor i want to buy a 32 inch FHD TV and use it as monitor as well. Could this cause any performance problems?

Just yesterday I try to use my TV Philips 32 FHD as monitor instead of my very good monitor LG 22. Spectacular! No problems of performance. But with a serious problem for my eyes..today are reds:) after about 3 hours gaming. I set with minimum of brightness but uselessly.

After this, I think Will buy one monitor 27 or 32.

PS Great screen is very fine but also advantageous for long range firing.

As I see it the support for MacOS will be gone.

If I understand correctly, you can't play WoWS on Mac without using some sort of dual boot setup/emulator like bootcamp.

However, the limitations that developers have to program around are inherent to the hardware of the machine (old CPUs that are not 64bit architecture or old GPUs that can't run DirectX 10.1 or higher), so this should only impact the Mac PC if it does not meet these hardware requirements. DirectX 10.1 is a hardware dependent api and must be installed on the Windows Bootcamp instance, but whether the version of Bootcamp supports DirectX 10.1 or higher will depend upon the Mac hardware and the version of Bootcamp.

Most Macs since 2008ish have used Intel CPUs that support 64 bit and DX10.1 should work with most Windows emulators on Mac that emulate a Windows Vista, 7 or 10 system.
