Sooooo Armada - 67 Ships for around €550 - Anyone interested???

If I had so much money in my pockets that I needed to hire someone to hold my trousers up, I might be tempted (all those doubloons would be useful - I have most of the ships on the list), but as it is - nah!

 

The sort of people for whom this bundle is most useful (new players who can essentially see the future and *know* they are going to play lots for years, and have plenty of cash on hand), are probably exceptionally rare...

As a collector the package calls me, but this year isnt enough money on my side for it.

Also I wished that when you buy such a bundle, that there is a nice on top - like a prem that you normally couldnt get anymore (Imperator or such stuff)

well you can collect anything, even diseases.

 

You should have played Gran Turismo 5 back in the day. people there collected virtual cars with only 0 miles on the odometer. Which was no easy feat as some cars could only be bought from the used car dealer and the "driven" miles were always random. I knew people who had all ~1200 cars and would never drive them, in a racing game!

 

Also 500 bucks? My first real car cost that much and I drove that thing for years.

When I was onto Eve Online a friend had a Mothership literally worth more than my car at the time... Losing a Titan in that game used to be like crashing a nearly new car. Don't know if they are still worth that much now!!

Yea those titans were valued in the thousands. I still remember all those clickbate articles back in the day "Giant battle in Eve, ships worth 200.000$ destroyed!!!".

You never experienced real griefing in an online game, if you have not seen a year worth of your playtime explode in front of your eyes.

Back then I actually travelled trough the deeps of 0-sec only to visit the titan graveyard and watch the big wrecks float about.

I was in an 0.0 Alliance for a bit. In our clan someone spent ages building a Mothership, posted a thank you thread on our forum and then got ganked immediately as he went for a joy ride without an escort. That poor guy was trolled harder than anything else I've seen, our own alliance brutalised him as it made us all look bad since the kills show up globally.

-67 ships of witch i already have almost all, and get a tonn of dubs witch idk what to use on. 

-A memorable night at a trusted shady establishment.

Yea there were entire sites just for posting killmails, if something expensive died in Eve, people would know.

Poor guy. I lost my fair share of expensive stuff myself, but never to that degree.

 

The corporation I was in, made it's money with hunting sleepers. We occupied a stable wormhole and we had a base there. I remember that we build large capital ships in there for defence purposes and that those ships were so big that they would not be able to leave the system because they would not fit though the hole. ^^ That gave us the home advantage as rivalling corps could not bring capital ships in. Good times.

I don't have the funds lying around rn, but I heard the 200% bonus doubloons coupon works on this offer. Should be interesting for some people I am sure, since those 500 euros would be the last thing you have to invest for a looooong time.

Nice... I was just in a small clan that held few pos but often mustered into far bigger groups as our alliance was always at war. Heard of pirate groups that roamed 0.0 and  operated from a mobile mothership to gank ratters etc

 

Was a great game but too involved for someone with a job and social/family commitments 

 

I'd play again if I won the lottery!!
