My feeling is (post-buff on Cossack) it depends a bit on what sort of play style you like; before Cossack got buffed, Lightning was almost certainly better - now, they're rather closer. The buff has made a positive difference to Cossack - torps are a lot more useful now, and the doubling the traverse rate has improved the guns massively...

Just do one game in a B-Ship - it activates the 10x250-Dubloons-Mission for her regular counterpart ;-)

PS Not buying any containers, plenty of premium ships I hardly play anymore.

Better? TBH Not really but as good as, both have strenghts (faser turrets vs engine boost for one) and cossack is premium so u can move commander around to it and also has a bit more income and probbably wont get nerfed easily unlike line ships...

Having got a few of the black ships in containers yesterday, I have to say that WG have done an excellent job on the skins - they look really good (and slightly perverted, with the shiny black/silver pops combination).

 

For the full effect, WG should mess with the in-game music, such that it plays Venus in Furs whenever you play a black ship (especially Asashio)...

Couldn't help it and got the 6 container pack. 

Got lucky in that I got Atago which was the ship I wanted. Apart from that, 14d Premium and 80 camos.

Had I got another ship instead of Atago I wouldn't have thought that it was such a good deal, but I knew I was gambling.

The only thing I wish is that Atago had a big red spot in the front like Tirpitz has the cross.

The black camo is definitely a little kinky.

BTW, love the Atago.

Watched Synpax open 25 boxes. He got all 4 ships and some other stuff.

The ships dropped within the first 15 crates, so he got really lucky. It was funny to see the ship poke through the side of the crate before it opened.

Banking on getting a ship and buying 6 boxes is an awful gamble, but if someone wants any one of the ships on sale it might be a risky way to try and get lucky.
