I haven't seen any announcement, maybe someone did:

Bots in co-op seem to have received an intelligence upgrade. Now they actively drive into smoke and stay there.

Therefore they are now better than 35% of the player base (was 29% before).

I agree on that one.

Im going mad against Coop Bots lately.

Somehow they like to perfectly angle (atleast against me)

They focus a target (often me :cap_haloween:)

They "decide" when to use torps - either longrange or they wait until they drive by to kill you almost guaranteed.

Not to mention they have 100% Citadel aim. RN CLs are probably the worst bots you can face as a Cruiser.

Meanwhile your half team evaporates at first sight , atleast occasionally. Had a Bot CM on our! side today who got 4 kills :Smile_trollface:

they also bow tank now too. whats more frustrating is friendly bots just sail in a straight line towards the enemy and get mowed down or ram for no reason.  They really need to model bot behavior to human behavior.  It's ridiculous that they always seem to perfectly angle when they aren't fighting me to take away the citadel, insta-turn away or into my torps etc.

I didn't notice any difference in co-op.

they still are "t100's", very far from the "t1000's" they put in UF a couples months back.

By the way

UF how is it, now?

I've been away for some time now. But I'm back.

Ahahahahah

Just yesterday I was in a game where a guy was AFK (lost connection) and his Bismark burned an Amagi bot to the ground with it's secondaries.

His ship saved the game.

Only time bots drive into the smoke is when they are behind a destroyer that happens to be taking part in mist farting competition...

...and they stay there only if they crash into sinking ship or an island.

they are still being sneaky with torps - if you target them and then torp, they turn away immediately.  If you de-target them, then torp, they ignore your torps.

At the higher tiers they will fixate on damaged ships and try to kill them as a priority - seems sensible to me.

Overall better bots - better game imo

Dude, such high levels of unpredictability and ineptitude simply cannot be programmed into any AI. In this respect, us humans still hold a clear and overwhelming lead. :cap_like:

TAKE THAT SKYNET! BWAHAHAHAHAHA! :cap_haloween:

No change.

And changes get announced.

Dude - you are way, WAY too trusting about Wargaming's competence.

These guys just released a premium ship without noticing that its camo was not being rendered in Port!

This is the mindset of a software company that makes changes without checking or announcing them. I've (sadly) worked in such organizations.

There is a difference between bugs and changes.

And if you mean the Dreadnought, they noticed that.

BUT NOT BEFORE RELEASING IT!

You are supposed to catch errors before you release then to the public.

Don't forget, either, the Vanguard thread to which you have contributed. Also a foul-up.

They make rather too many to be considered a quality software outfit.

Or maybe it's just that my standards are too high - or yours are too low.

It was noted in the premium shop when the offer went online.

That is early enough.

The fuse timer is a bug. Somebody made a mistake, it happens.

Rather too frequently in Wargaming's case.

I can also refer you to the case of the Aigle - which was sold with a known bug WHICH WAS NOT COMMUNICATED.

But what's the point @ColonelPete? You are notorious for defending Wargaming whatever they do.

If they demolished your house "by mistake" you would probably still defend them!  :Smile_teethhappy:

Yeah, when running out of arguments, just resort to personal attacks and then mess that up too...

I doubt you could it make it more obvious that you do not know what you say.

Hmm not too long. It feels a bit like when they changed bot behaviour (made them smarter) a little while ago. After that they made them normaly dumb again, but now it feels like something in between those.

Often you had Bots moving in straight lines over the map, probably only changing course for spotted torps. Lately ive seen bots change course either when you throw torps at them, but ive seen them dodge my shells right away when i shot? At positions they NORMALY shouldnt steer! But not all bots, that makes me wonder.

Ive had Bots ram islands to get out of my torprange for no apparent reason?

Well, there's of course always the odd joker who brings an Atlanta...

Why I would never do such a thing...

No to mention that they at times just love to lemming train after a DD or say... an Atlanta (not that I would know ). At times they seem smart enough to hide in smoke, wait for optimal torpedo drops, etc. Then all of sudden they are pants-on-head-stupid and yolo charge into oblivion.

And YOU have the hypocrisy to accuse ME of personal attacks. :Smile_teethhappy:

I've had many dealings with you on the forum and the overall taste is bad I'm afraid.

Can we make a pact, please?

I will refrain from commenting on your posts, and in return you will refrain from commenting on mine?

Thank You in advance.
