What? No. You pay for a (one) premium acc, which one you want to use is up to you.

If you only play WOWS than you use wows premium with 65% Xp increase.

If you play other WG titles than you use "regular" WG premium that offers 50% xp increas across all WG titles.

So basically wows-only players who have premium will gain 15% moarrrr for.... Nothing. Great deal I'd say!

As @quickr mentioned, this is not the case.

If you play only World of Warships you can choose to purchase a premium account that only works for Warships at the same price but with a 15% increase to the bonus XP it provides.

If you also play Tanks and/or Planes, you can of course buy the regular premium account that will keep working as it always has.

@MrConway

what about those of us who only play warships but have a lot of prem time now? could we convert it to warships prem time?

Upon implementation of the Warships premium account, everyone will be given Warships premium account time equal to their regular time at that point.

Have 300 days of premium account? We will give you 300 days of Warships premium account for free on release! :cap_like:

from the FB post:

When the warships premium account will be added, all players with an active premium account will receive a warships premium account with the same duration. Thus, they will be able to test the service and evaluate its benefits for themselves, without incurring any additional costs

It's a great idea for those who only play one title. Question is, will TWA work under the normal premium account? Some people don't want to pay multiple subscriptions as they can only play one game at once!

It was obviously too much effort for WG to keep their word for a unified premium account over all 3 titles as they promised.

They are not removing the unified premium account. We will have 2 premium account options; one for all games and one only for WoWs.

I was planing to play WoT this December, but as it looks like I will have to decide which game I love better, then I have to rething my thinking.

For me WoT without premium account is a no go, but 15% + to WoWs is not nothing. Decisions, decisions to be made :)

Alternatively I can buy 3 years worth of premium time, and think about it later :D

Sub_Octavian already said that freeXP ships will cost more (seems that Alaska will cost 1M freeXP).

TWA will likely not be rolled into the regular premium account, as we are only the publisher for that title, there are contractual obligations that make this difficult.

It will only give an increase to XP earned, so it shouldn't have much impact apart from accelerating progress through the tech-tree.

It was even in the original announcement:

Quote

ST. Warships premium account

The warships premium account will be added to the game. It will give you an extra 15% experience compared to the general premium account, but it only will work in World of Warships. The cost of the warships PA will be equal to the cost of the general PA.
The bonus at the end of the battle will be calculated with the active premium account with the higher modifier. If both premium accounts are active, the bonus for the battle will be based on the warships PA.
This service is developed for players who mainly play World of Warships, and don't mind getting an increased bonus in one game in exchange for a lack of bonuses in others.
Its presence will allow us more flexibility in customizing in-game rewards and compensation.
When the warships premium account will be added, all players with an active premium account will receive a warships premium account with the same duration. Thus, they will be able to test the service and evaluate its benefits for themselves, without incurring any additional costs.

Please note that the information in the Development Blog is preliminary.
