30% coupon CAN be used for Jean Bart!

Hey guys,
I know we have a separate thread for the 30% coupon everybody and their grandmother has received lately.
But I figured I would break the widely spread misconception the 30% discount can't be used for Jean Bart, because it can:

Just make sure you click the offer through the "SHIPS" section of the premium shop and not the "SPECIAL OFFERS."  (Works either way after all)

Hey man, looks like they did. The 30% discount is also available if you click the Bieber from the "SPECIAL OFFERS"
I'm positive (just as you are) it wasn't possible before.

Glad I saved the coupon, the price is bearable with 30% discount.

It was probably not just thanks to me, but I'll happily take credit. 

 

I opened a ticket with support because I couldn't use the coupon with the standard Le Terrible bundle (the un-discounted one).

As per usual the first response was a trash bot generated message telling me that coupons don't work for discounted items, special offers or gold.

Only once I took it further and brought up that my coupon listed only one limitation, which was that it wouldn't work for discounted items, only then did they inform me that "specialists" were looking into it and they put my ticket on hold.

Heard back from them again around 10:00 today when they told me that it was fixed.

Paying the amount of Pounds WG wanted for the ship is daylight robbery for a bunch of pixals. 

 

It's a good Battleship for tier 9, but no-way worth it for that price. NO WAY.

Something changed.

 

My 30%  coupon most definitely would not work for JB or any of the specials, discounts or limited time offers. I tried every option over a couple of days. It would only work on full price regular premium ships or premium time - nothing else.

No, it was something else.

My coupon was simply unclickable and when looking at my coupons it looked like this

It looked like I didn't have any coupons.

 

But I think I figured it out.

I was in the midst of completing the transaction but had someone at the door. The transaction then times out and I think it kinda locked out the coupon.

After I had finished the failed transaction (had to log in again), the coupon became usuable again.

 

It may also have helped that I relogged into the website itself.

 

But anyway, I'm happy with this deal
