Where do EU players get ARP ships these days?!

Hi,

I notice a lot of players with things like ARP Kongo and its sister ships that seem to be very experienced yet have often times had less than ten games in these ships. Looked some of them up and a few definitely only got these ARP ships within the past few weeks. Is there another way besides supercontainers?!

Or..... they only started playing the ships since a few weeks because of Ranked Sprint.

As far as i know, it is no longer possible to get the ARP ships.

 

I guess people got the ships from the ARP Event, but never played with them.

And because Ranked Sprint is for T5 ships, you see a lot of  ARP Kongō in the Ranked Sprint battles.

I have them, but i cant play them.

You can no longer acquire these ships, as the licensing deal with ARP has long since expired. If you have them, you can continue to play them.

Same deal for the Haifuri ships, actually. Licensing also expired.

As will be the case for the Azur Lane coop ships and captains eventually.

I think that sometimes the date shown is when the ship is first used rather than when it was unlocked or awarded.

Since wows-numbers doesn't know whether you've purchased a new ship it displays a ship as new when you play your first battle with it.

E.g. I got a Tirpitz from gamescom a few months ago, but wows-numbers doesn't display it because I haven't played a battle with it yet.

That is the date he first played it. 

Those sites rely on data send by the server. If no battle is recorded the ship does not exist

There are many players with ships in their habour they never played. These ships are not listed on stats pages.

When they are playing them for the first time (even years afer getting them), WoWs-numbers lists them as new ships.

I've played my ARP Kongou quite a bit. So much, in fact, that the silver Kongo is the only IJN BB I've never played. Well, except Musashi, Kii, and Mutsu.

Presumably they have had them ever since the last time you could acquire them, whenever that was..

I have (4) Kongo, Haruno, Hiai and Haguro all gained within the first 4 months of beginning to play the game and so have no idea what I did to get them, suddenly they were there with those female Japanese Captains, who to this day refuse to learn to speak English. I put my unemployed IJN captains on them and use my ARP Kongo for the ranked battles.. with a 19 point captain on her she plays very well...

restore policy recently changed. u can now get (edit: premium- or arp-like-) ships back u ever (accidently) sold on ur account once each 6 months, no matter the ammount of ships. check support for.

I don't think you can sell them - I have a number of ARP ships that I never play. Just had a look - 8 of them!!

On that site it lists me as having 3 tier 10 ships, though I actually have had 5 for a little while now. The ships not listed are the ones I never played in randoms yet.

You're mistaken. The API doesn't actually give you information on ships in port so wows-numbers has no way of acquiring this data. The date for "new ship" is, therefore, not what it claims to be - it's the date for the first match rather than actual acquisition.
