Wonderful article and very well written! I'm very glad that you also decided to incorporate vessels from the Spanish Navy.

 

I would certainly love to have the Canaria class ingame as researchable and the Baleares as premium. Also the Churrucas are a must! And BTW, the Churruca's design and 1st of the class was exported to Argentina, so that would be killing two birds with one stone. And the cherry on the cake would be if you also included the España class BB as tier III.

There are going to be a lot of County Class cruisers in the game if WG ever gets around to doing them. Three RN types, Two Commonwealth/RAN types, Canarias/Baleares and the ones they didn't build for the RN (Surrey, Northumberland). Are they going to be fun to play, though? Yes to lots of 8in/203 mm guns, but these things have almost no armour at all. Pensacolarama (indeed, I think the Pensa has more armour than these Treaty ships).

The problem of including the battleship España in tier III is her inferior armament compared to other warships in the same category. Something similar would happen with the Swedish costal defense ship Sverige, though that could be compensated with better gun accuracy, some extra additions, maybe a nice repair consumable or just simply the combination of them all.

I'm one of those that would love to see variety in the Pan-European tech tree, but perhaps the biggest issue is the fact that most of the most known ships would be placed in the lower tiers, being more difficult to complete the upper ones. Anyway, just like some people pointed out refering to the Spanish Armada:

- BB España or Jaime I in Tier III.

- DD Churruca class, probably in tier V.

- CL Almirante Cervera, tier V or maybe VI with good torpedoes.

- CA Canarias, tier VII. There is also the possibility of making Baleares premium, but prefer Canarias because the two funnels set is more elegant.

- CL Méndez Núñez (1944 refit, just like it was posted before), maybe tier VI if the guns are fast enough.

I wouldn't go with aircraft carrier Dédalo as it was acquired in 1967, a bit out of time for the game. Ah, i almost forgot... it would be great if Wargaming included ships from both Republican and Nationalist Spain.

by history and preference I would like to implement the game to the Canarian heavy cruiser and light cruiser Admiral Cervera. thanks for your work, because in each update I have a little more fun.

Boy does it make me happy to see this, while Spain was an underdog, any time I heard about the navy it was treated as a "medium weight fighter".

In 1912 it was called El Ferrol too, i dont see the problem.

Anyway thanks for the article. Especially the old photograph, it is a great photograph and a proud of people who lives in this city.

It will be great a branch of spanish ships, but if you will introduce submarines, why not the first electric battery prototype submarine, Isaac Peral?

As I understand it, Spain will be a part of the future Pan-European tree. 

Together with Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and probably several more to come. 

 

Just to get the picture: does this mean we will be able to assign our Polish Blyskawica-Captain to a Spanish ship? 

Or an Austrian Captain to a Swedish ship? et cetera.... 

 

Kind of funny to think of Almirante José driving my Viribus Unitis in future, or Komandor Wladyslaw at the helm of my Sverige battleship!!

I really want to see spanish ships, i live in spain so i like to see for one time any ship in world of warships

 

        -Specially the heavy cruiser canarias, she can will be a very competitive heavy cruiser

        -Churruca destroyers looks so good to, like a destroyer with many cannons and high speed reload

       - In the battleship any of them, but i think that are not very powerful
