Boy does it make me happy to see this, while Spain was an underdog, any time I heard about the navy it was treated as a "medium weight fighter". And as far as the question goes, a Canarias or that fast battleship project would be nice to bring to battle.

Please that the Spanish ships appear in the game, those of both sides, republican and national, with their flags.
Maybe not many to have their own technological tree, although I think so.
If we take into account that they are mainly based on British designs, part of the work would already be done, right?

These Spaniards are all well and good, but when are going to get to the only proper fleet? We need the Imperial and Royal Austro-Hungarian Navy! I need to see my Habsburg dreadnoughts pulverize some Italians. 

Jokes aside, it's great seeing Spanish ships will get proper representation in the game! The Spanish Navy truly deserves it.

No matter tho, I too would like to see a Spanish ship or two or three (or more?) in WoWS especially if one could get one via an event/missions.

Apart from the obvious choices (a España class BB at tier III, a Cervera class CL at tier V or a Canarias class CA at tier VII) I really want a modernized Méndez Núñez  CL at tier V as a little AA bastard

There's 3 very different Churucca configurations.

 

Churucca group:

5x1 - 120/45 Vickers-Armstrong Mk D guns.

These are the classic RN 120mm QF guns using BL mounts, like the ones on Gallant, Jervis etc. (don't mix these up for Jianwei guns due to the older mounts)

With more firepower than Icarus this will make a sweet tier 6 leader.

 

Almirante Antequera group:

4x1 - 120/45 Vickers-Armstrong Mk F guns.

This is a modern Vickers developed DP gun, RN ships never used this design because they started moving to the 113mm calibre.

15-20 RPM, 80 degree elevation and a modern director with 3m rangefinder makes this a Spanish Monaghan/Farragut B.

 

Gravina (Jorge Juan, Ulloa had 4 guns)

5x1 - 102/50 Vickers Mk E.

There wasn't enough Mk F guns to go around so they shipped the rest with a 102mm Mk E gun. I presume this was the same as the 4" XIX you get on most WW2 RN ships??

 

Also don't forget the 1943 Méndez Núñes CL refit with 8 x 120/45 Vickers Mk F guns. Tier 5 Atlanta?

Not much of a fleet I know, but it would be nice to read an article about it.

Dalmacija is way too weak of a ship to be put in the game. It was a an obsolete training ship, with guns almost twice as small as those on destroyers. There simply isn't a place for her on the tech tree.

I didn't say put it in the tech tree, i asked for an article. 

 

Although, if I remember correctly, I've mentioned in pan-EU topic some time ago, that it would be nice to see some yugoslavian navy ships in tech tree as well. Maybe not Dalmacija but Dubrovnik could find a place there.
