Which Spanish ships am I dying to get my hands on? All of them of course!:cap_money:

As a Spaniard myself, I always wanted to see Spain represented in Wargaming's games, but obviously that wasn't going to happen in WoT or Warplanes as Spain did not really work on it's military after the Civil War (although WoT might still surprise us since they announces that Pan-European Tech tree:cap_hmm:).

But the day I saw World of Warships announced, I knew it could happen in this game, that's why I've been playing since the very beginning, to be sure I did not miss the moment a Spanish gets added!

Would love full tech trees of course, but I don't know how feasible that is (maybe there are a lot of paper ships around :fish_book:)

Thanks for the article, and keep up the good work!:cap_like:

I wish we could get a full Pan-European DD, CA and BB tech tree in which we could have a churruca-class destroyer at tier 5 (maybe 6), a Canarias-class heavy cruiser at tier 7 and a España-class battleship at tier 3. :cap_hmm: Now i know this will take a lot of time and research to complete this tech tree, especially for the BB section (if they ever bring one in-game), but I'm quite sure they'll be able to bring at least a full DD tech tree with each time a ship from a different nation at each tier (for example: Austro-Hungarian dd Warasdiner at tier 4, Romanian dd Regele Ferdinand at tier 5, etc...).:fish_book:

Possibly all of them as they were designed in the United Kingdom as SECN was part owned by John Brown and Co so the Spanish ships were actually British designs

Well after the closing of the spanish forum one would have thought that we would never get anything But this changes a lot We can have famous ships like Canarias the España class BB and even Mendez Núñez as a tier 5 AA Atlanta like cruiser As for paper, we could get a 4x2 343 13,5inch BB or the projected although rather difficult to find “Spanish Rodney” which was to be armed with 381s/15inchs And if you are looking for some big big ship go for the Spanish Littorio:

Hi all:
I did not think I would write in this forum either, but the occasion deserves it, what ship? It does not matter, I'm going to have fun with any of them.
I trust that this project will really go ahead, and if there is a premium, you will spend one the money to buy it.
a greeting and to navigate.

On 25th October 1936  during the  Spanish civil war my father's cousin a Royal Marine on the British D class light cruiser HMS Dragon attempted to tow off the Spanish Cruise liner Cristobel Colon which had come aground off a reef north of Bermuda, it was empty of passengers and it was claimed that it had been heading to Mexico to collect arms for the Republicans.

The attempt to pull the ship off the reef was unsuccessful and the ship was stuck fast. The ship was systematically looted by the Bermudans but few were caught,  eventually the 160 male and female crew were returned to Spain but several were killed by the Nationalists.

Having being used as gunnery practice by the British during WW2 the Cristobel Colon's remains still lie submerged on the reef and are popular with divers.
