Legendary tiex X upgrades missions expire on 31.12

I heard a rumor some time ago that this expiry date is just a dummy and that these missions are just going to be available indefinitely. Is there any confirmed info in that regard?

I just hope that they'll actually extend the times, not remove these missions and just give us the same missions for another year.

The Yam one is good but most of the rest are pointless side steps.

 

Some will even argue the Yam one is bad but personally I think it transforms the ship...

Slightly better dispersion, even more painful turret traverse and worse DPM.

Yamato‘s LM is arguably one of the most useful ones. Hindy‘s is also nice and I personally like GK‘s as well. The others I don’t really know

I have the Shima, YY and Gearing upgrades and the only decent one so far is for the Gearing.. I have heard that the GK is good also and I am 15k into the 40k bxp for the upgrade.

I dont know. I run secondary build GK it has not much use for me. The Henry IV looks useful but who in their right mind would grind 100 games in that

Personally I feel the LM makes the guns that much better...

 

The turret traverse was  buffed just before the LM was released so it's no slower than it ever was in the past. Plus the DPM loss over the reload module isn't huge either.

Yamato legendary is good.

Republique legendary is great.

Zao legendary is great.

Hindenburg legendary makes the ship play differently aka good.

Henri IV legendary makes the ship play differently aka good.

Gearing legendary is good.

Moskva legendary is epic.

 

So many are actually good and some are bad. I have tested a few and most basically makes the already strong tier 10 perform a lot better than without. (Which is BS, but that is a topic for another day).

If Wargaming wanted to use a placeholder date, tehn why did they select 31 Dec 2018?

Why not set it far into the future, such as 31 Dec 2028?

(The carrier rework might be finished by then) :Smile_hiding:

Think it's because (at least at the time) missions couldn't be set past 31st December of the year they're launched. It's a typical coding approach when you don't expect things to need more than a week or two. Historical coding relic no doubt.

Grozovoi legendary is great

 

Gearing legendary is well balanced, not good or bad.

 

Mino legendary is worse than useless

YY legendary is easily the worst of them all, a straight up nerf of everything good about the YY

Z52 legendary is just bad (but may provide different gameplay = lol boat)

Shima legendary is bad

 

do I detect a WG class and nation racism (DDs get bad legendary mods except russians)

GK one is useful specially for secondary build, because it gives reload buff to both, main and secondary guns. Also.... I have Henri IV LM and it is perhaps the best of them all. I still haven't had under 130k damage game in Henri after I got it. It is brutal, even though not suitable for something like Clan battles. With LM Henri is my most favorite cruiser in T10 (I have them all).

I also have one for Hindi, which is ok, also not suitable for clan battles, because of bad concealment.

I am also grinding ones for Grozovoi and Republic, because both are just straight up reload buffs and you don't really lose anything.

Even DM legendary is actually good.

Sure you lose a few seconds of radar and you lose the DPM/range module... but you gain an acceleration that actually rivals the Minotaur, and make you go from 0 to 28 knots in around 8 seconds combined with the standard propulsion module. It helps a lot for your positioning and in particular makes your initial positioning a lot faster. Which actually compensate for your lost reload/range and make you way more versatile if you can't use covers.

Lol, are you serious?

 

LM gives -15% to main battery reload AND -15% to secondary reload

Secondary upgrade gives only  -20% reload to secondary battery reload.

 

You would have to be totally retarded to choose -20% secondary reload over LM, when difference is only 5% in secondaries,  while you also get massive -15% boost to your main battery reload with LM.
