PSA: Twitch Drops

Captains,

 

As some of you might already have noticed, we have started trialing Twitch drops! 

 

What this means is that whenever you spend more than one hour watching a World of Warships Twitch stream, there is a chance that you will be rewarded with a Twitch container in game! 

 

 

To participate in this trial, you need to link your Twitch account to your Wargaming account:

1. Log into your account
2. Go to your Account Management Page
3. Link your Twitch Account (Right hand side)

 

So join us this weekend on Twitch for the King of the Sea finals and you might just get lucky! And if you don't we will again be running regular giveaways and a prediction contest for additional swag!

I watched like 10 -20 minutes of a stream yesterday and I was welcomed by three containers when I started playing today

I havent gotten any!!!!
I use Streamlink Twitch GUI program with external video player..... no idea if its still ¨tracked¨, but have watched a lot of Warships streams, more than 1 hour per day...

They're not pink. White/Purple. Pink is Tokyo Game Show afaik. Also, if you link "old" prime(with accepted wows stuff) acc then you should get Texas mission, camos etc. It works(checked).

Watched entire KotS-finale today: didn't get a single container.

why? the chance to get a container is only very low, of course you don't get a container for every hour you watch (as some people had claimed)...

The droprate seems to be pretty low after the first container. Kind of everybody gets one for the first few minutes watched, but after that first one they get REALLY rare. I didn't get a second one in an entire day of watching streams.

Works fine - already received five containers, but content is in a wrong order according to  it's crates - should be Consumable, Credits, Signals, shoulnd't it?

it does, but only on twitch. Watched Flamu, Flambass, and Panzerknacker, got crates for watching all 3.

Thanks for the confirmation! Yeah, I wouldn't expect Twitch Drops to work on Youtube ;). I watch CCs much more than the official channel, good to know I can get crates for that as well.

They are limited. It's to prevent "farming" by people who leave their twitch open 24/7.
